TAB’s 500th Post – Mitchey Bieber *****’ ‘Refugee Opinion’

Dear Mitch *****,

Thank you for highlighting your issues with asylum seekers blatant unsubstantiated hatred. You have added to the growing list of morons who are embarrassing our country globally.

Like so many before you, you’ve avoided facts, or at least have just been too damn stupid to understand them.

You seem to think that Australia is only beautiful when it’s populated by festy lunatics like yourself. Refugees risk everything including their lives to seek safety. They are survivors and they know what it’s like to wake up every morning knowing that the day could be their last.

Less than 5% of boat arrivals are found not to be genuine refugees, and the rest are found to be fleeing countries that are ruled by dictators and terrorists. Asylum seekers are forced to hand over their papers and belongings before boarding boats that aren’t even assured to reach their proclaimed destination/s, and they are rubbished by fuckwits like you when they get here who are frightened that they’re going to rape you and steal your hair gel.

By all means, trash those who have come here to seek a better life – a life where they are no longer persecuted, a life where they no longer fear being beaten, raped or killed. Einstein was a refugee, and he worked damn hard. He survived life’s cruel blows and proved people wrong.

You, in comparison to these people, are fucking nothing.

    • Having just checked out their website I suspect this little psychopath would be collecting the dole (courtesy of taxpayers such as myself… how ironic) were they to get wind of his opinions.

    • So no lucrative overseas trips to execute major projects for this ignorant racist. Would any reputable company want to trash their name and reputation by sending such a xenophobe to another country?

  1. A psychopath, through and through. There seriously is no hope for this pathetic individual. I can only hope he manages to promptly wipe himself out in whatever motorised penis-extension he gets around in before he actualises his potential as a rapist/serial killer/sex tourist/womanbasher/gaybasher/childbasher.

    • Not much sense wishing ill on him, even self-inflicted. I just hope it’s the fact that he’s an ignorant, frustrated kid… and that he’ll grow out of it, get out in the world, and realise how wrong he was. I don’t think at his age that this sort of thing is set in stone.

I can’t access the video, it’s marked private, so maybe he’s had a bit of a wake up call… one can only hope.

      • “Not much sense wishing ill on him, even self-inflicted.”

I think there’s some sense to it: his remarks are appalling, and there’s a feeling on the part of some that he should be punished as a result. The extent of that punishment may only, as in this case, be public embarrassment, but that can be punishment enough in some circumstances.

“I just hope it’s the fact that he’s an ignorant, frustrated kid… and that he’ll grow out of it, get out in the world, and realise how wrong he was.”

Ignorant yes, quite obviously. Frustrated, again, almost certainly (although at what and for what reasons is another question). What’s interesting is that he finds it unremarkable to express genuine pleasure at the drownings of a large number of people whose only crime was to seek asylum in Australia. Further, to place his gleeful reaction expression within a broader political context, one in which asylum seekers are systematically portrayed as criminals and deserving of ill-treatment, even to the point of death and/or madness. In other words, the ways in which the opinions, feelings, desires, interests and indeed frustrations of young men like Mitch are channelled in this manner.

I also think the image of Mitch flourishing some $50 bills is a nice and nicely suggestive contrast.

“I don’t think at his age that this sort of thing is set in stone.”

No, maybe not. But his basic personality most likely is. Thus his view of asylum-seekers as being sub-human and idiotic self-regard may be in accord with his general outlook or it may be somewhat exceptional. Who knows? (Or really cares, for that matter.)

“I can’t access the video, it’s marked private, so maybe he’s had a bit of a wake up call… one can only hope.”

If Mitch is indeed proud of his views he’ll presumably unlock his video. So too if he wants to be like, really famous ‘n’ shit.

Let’s hope his Mum and Dad are proud eh.

  2. Anonymous email sent? I had no problem putting my name on the email. Either way, this vile twat has the potential to alienate the company’s clients too.

  4. I’m helping to raise awareness on this site by posting articles as I receive them on my Tweeter account using #hashtag.

  5. I was wondering how long it would take before some knuckle-dragger made some comment like this guy just did. Didn’t think it would be quite as quick as that, though.

  6. hahahaha… everyone of you people are cowards, because someone has an opinion, that makes him a criminal!!!….and the fact that you would contact a company where someone works try to potentially jeopardize there employment is so weak!!! so so weak

I can only imagine how scared you would be if you were confronted one on one

  7. mindmadeup you are such a bad arse!! cross checking my email address to myspace….you should work for an intelligence agency!!

And yes it is an opinion, if i don’t like someone or something for a particular reason ITS MY OPINION.

send me your email address so I can just see how much of a coward you look like? Yeah, you wouldnt scared little rabbit

    • This is absurd (Jay man). Why do fools like this need to resort to threatening violence. Of course I would have the same opinion face to face. I’m 6’2″ and 110kg. But that shouldn’t matter. Anyone should be in a position to tell twits like you, and this child what they think of their opinions, and not have to be confronted with violence.

But that’s the problem. Sociopaths like the two of you are happy to see people injured and hurt. You make up the kind of people that the refugees are running from. Perhaps we should leave you in the kinds of countries that these people are fleeing, and see how long you survive.

I reckon it’d be less time than it would be, were you and I to discuss things ‘face to face’ as you described.

  8. oh and another thing to add to it, I’m not inciting hate.

just hate weak people that would actually try to burn someone over comments or a video they dont agree with……that is so pathetic

    • Wasn’t Mitchey burning refugees in his video based on their decision to flee persecution and come to a country that was safe?

Criticism of particular groups (ie refugees OR racist douchebags) isn’t limited to people like Mitch. If he’s going to publicly state his hatred for a particular group then so can we. And at least our attacks are justified, as racism is proven to be detrimental to society, whereas immigration is prove to be beneficial to society.

      • It’s almost funny, this desire to turn a disagreement into physical confrontation… Just proves that you know you can’t win the argument coz your side of it is so weak and lame, you pissant lol

  9. thats just silly…”What would you be saying if?”

I think your straying off-course, people need to get over thing’s…really do

and worry about there own life’s rather than scrutinizing others opinions.

    • Well Jay Man… If other people’s opinions don’t matter to your… Life’s life, then I guess you don’t need to be posting a retort on this forum!

And I guess that it doesn’t bother you that my opinion is that you didn’t even pass grade 6 english.

Just an opinion. Something of which doesn’t matter to you.

  10. Because of course opinions are NEVER wrong, misinformed, flat out stupid, incorrect or libellous, slanderous, defamatory in any way, right?

And what would you say if he was advocating murder or child abuse? Don’t dodge the question, it’s a valid point.

  11. Hi thanks jay man you can see were im coming from , i would like everyone to mind you own buisness and worry about your own crazy lives , i can say what i want when i want were ever i want , so if you dont like that do and fu** yourselfs , THE FUNNY THING IS YOU HAVE NO LIVES SITTING ON A COMPUTER GOSSIPING , DIE YOU HIPPYS

    • Ah yes, the lowest common denominator argument of “You have no life”.

Often wheeled out when the person saying it has absolutely no argument or comeback.

    • Big gangsta man Mitchell, flashing a total of $500.00. Well my dear that will not even be a fortnights Centrelink payment. You better learn to swim fast as I can see you drowning in your tears when you lose your job darling!

    • Its too late for pathetic morons like Mitchell Johns. I hope you die a slow miserable death so that in your final minute, you might at last get the character and insight to appreciate why refugees seek a new home. WIth your death, it means one less ugly piece of shit that genuine people don’t have to listen to or look at. You’re an ugly useless moron who does not deserve to have the happiness that others seek – now that I know where you live and what you look like, I can’t wait to spit on you.

    • You’re right Mitchey Moo, you can say what you like when you like but guess what…so can we! And that includes telling your employers that they have a dropkick like you representing them on the world stage. I’m pretty sure an international company with business in the Middle East and Asia would not want to be associated with someone who’s openly racist and ignorant to boot. Employers tend to take that very seriously these days, especially when someone is stupid enough to post racist comments and video on social media and list their employers.

  12. What an unintelligent Bigot. Anyone who agrees with you is similarly disgusting. Racism is not an opinion, Racism is a crime, and effectively slandering the work of an international agency for whom one works is, in no other words, plain stupid. I think I can quite honestly say that every racist I have ever encountered is far too thick to know the difference between their, there and they’re, let alone produce a valid argument for their belief. If you have no valid argument or reasoning, how about fucking do one dickhead.

  13. @Mitchell Johns, you seem to think you’re untouchable. This is the internet, and people can fuck your entire life up without touching you. People like you don’t deserve to live in a country like Australia, you are the scum of society and a burden. I bet your parents are brother and sister, that’d be the only way they would be proud of their bogan, racist, ignorant, shitkicker, degenerate son. Enjoy loosing your job you fucking loser.

  14. OK. So Mitch has confirmed that, in his opinion, the people who drowned were a) “c*nts” who deserved to die and b) it’s a good thing that they did because c) this now means they won’t enter the country and therefore d) there’s no possibility that he might have to actually see them walking around places like Sunbury.

As an alternative to mass death, might I suggest Mitch place a paper bag over his head?

This would limit his Internet use, sadly, but it would also mean he didn’t have to suffer from looking at strangers. A happy compromise, surely?

  15. Umm Australia = freedom of speech, am I right?
Mitch is entitled to an opinion and in my opinion he said everything other Australians are too scared too.
These ‘boat people’ are coming from countries that are not war torn or under dictatorship, they are third world countries yes, but but no means does that threaten their lives. Your taxes are not going to his dole, but going to illegal detainees, who have entered our country illegally with no threat to their lives, they receive top notch medical care and luxuries such as purfumes and flat screen plasma tvs (which most hard working AUSTRALIANS cant even afford themselves) if they require hearing aids, we not only provide them with one, but when they get greedy and request one with bluetooth..they get it.
When they are denied instant access to our country and are made to stay in these detention centres they pull acts such as hunger strikes and sowing their lips together in demand for instant citizenship (which happens on a regular basis)..dunno about you but i do not want an individual who has the mental ability to sow their own flesh together to be walking down the same street as me or my family…these people get all these luxuries courtesy of you and your tax money.
I have worked in many immigration detention centers and have seen this all first hand.
genuine asylum seekers are a different story, but those who arn’t (which i garentee you is most of them) are ruining our culture and traditions, they refuse to speak our native language and conform to our laws.
run your anti bogan policial correctness crap all you want but we are slowing loosing the good old aussie culture and way of life thanks to being overrun by immigrants..refugees or not.
It is disappointing to think my children won’t grow up with the same aussie culture I did, proudly singing the national anthem every day at school and enjoying Christmas activities in class..I’m sure Mitch feels the same disappointment and frustration I do, so can you really blame him for wanting it to be heard?

    • Umm Australia = freedom of speech, am I right?

Implied freedom of speech – defaming and vilifying minorities is not included.

Mitch is entitled to an opinion

Good, so are we. Mitch is an immature dull dweeb who is still mired in the masturbatory fantasies of early adolescence where he must be the centre of the universe. We wouldn’t trust him to take a breath let alone handle a dangerous construction job. His workmates must sweat with fear and wonder what the fuck stupidity he is going to do today whenever they see he is rostered on the job. We would.

OK we have expressed our opinion. Happy sweetheart?

These ‘boat people’ are coming from countries that are not war torn or under dictatorship, they are third world countries yes, but but…blah blah blah

You know I could virtually write your response for you…just find the nearest dumb racist forum and cut and paste the latest bilge post. No one could ever accuse racists of engendering excitement. No, it’s the same old dull defamatory hate every single dodgy site or dreary Facebook hate page written by every half-arsed xenophobic loser. If boredom could kill we’d be dead.

I have worked in many immigration detention centers (sic)

Prove it. And I hope for the sake of the peace and sanity of the people in there that you don’t now. Tell you what, if you do it won’t be for much longer.

It is disappointing to think my children won’t grow up with the same aussie culture I did, proudly singing the national anthem every day at school and enjoying Christmas activities in class.

I sang the National Anthem at primary school. So what? They still do. And primary schools still “do” Christmas. Singing songs and waving flags mean little.

We’re all pleased our children will grow up in a country where racism has become entirely unacceptable and where comments like yours are seen for what they are – festering hatred and overweening entitlement.

How do the things he said on facebook, make him a danger at work?

” Prove it. And I hope for the sake of the peace and sanity of the people in there that you don’t now. Tell you what, if you do it won’t be for much longer.”

As if the bloke’s going to tell you, you’d just email them asking to sack him.

“I sang the National Anthem at primary school. So what? They still do. And primary schools still “do” Christmas. Singing songs and waving flags mean little.”

You’d be the one who knows i guess, working at a school and all

    • SJ, get your hand off it. What a load of bullshit. You never worked in a detention centre, and if you did, I’ll be sending your fearful paranoid rant to the govt. to make sure that no one like you gets through the screening process. They obviously didn’t do spelling tests on previous applicants. And what exactly is this Australian culture you speak of? Beer, bbqs, the beach, footy, looking after your mates? All my recent immigrant friends do all those things. Or does this Australian culture mean the right to degrade and exclude someone of a different colour or nationality? No wonder Australians are perceived as racist bogans in other countries. You’re guilty of spreading misinformation, yet I’m sure you feel comforted by your ignorance, because its more important for you to feel ‘right’ than actually acknowledge facts. I see buses dropping off schoolkids every day from where I work. Whole busloads with adoring parents and family waiting to pick them up. Ethiopian, Indian, Chinese, Vietnamese … not one anglo child amongst them. My heart swells with pride that these kids, with no hate or racism in their hearts or minds, will pave the way for a better Australia one day. However, if I knew that you had degraded them in any way, I would get great pleasure in knowing that someone – no matter what race – rubbed your face in a pile of shit so that you can taste what you speak.

    • Exactly what the fuck is “Aussie culture”? Please, because from what I have gathered courtesy of the postings by those of your ilk “Aussie culture” seems to be all about sinking brain-damagingly huge quantities of piss, believing everything that “Today Tonight” tells you, having absolutely no command of the written elements of the language one claims to cherish so much and hating anything that doesn’t come in shades of white. Should that be “Aussie culture” then may I be so brazen as to suggest that we are far better off without it.
As for why people come here via the oceanic route, well, in many of the countries from which they come from one cannot exactly saunter up to the Australian embassy and apply for a visa. To do so would invite the attention of the authorities and invite certain persecution in the form of punishments such as losing economic privilege at the best through to torture and death at the worst. Hence the “illegal” route. As an example may I mention Iran. Do some reading on that one buddy. have a chat to some Iranians. I have an Iranian colleague who would dearly love to go back to Iran right now, especially in light of the fact that her mother has a terminal illness, but she dares not because she knows that upon arrival there she will most probably be arrested simply for the “crime” of having “illegally” left Iran in the first place. When she speaks to her mother on the ‘phone it is clear to her that a third party is monitoring the call, inhibiting just what can be said. Would you like to live like that? Should anyone have to live like that?
As for racism being mere “opinion”, well, it is an opinion which leads to people getting their heads kicked in or killed by those holding such “opinions”. I yet have to come across an anti-racist “opinion” which has led to murder. The fact that prettyboy Mtchy Mitch gloats over the death of other human beings suggest to me that he would probably favour the use of violent means in order to propagate his “opinions” or likely even personally contribute to such if given an oppportunity (I have no problems picturing him drunk and glassing some innocent at the Cronulla riots simply because he doesn’t like their skin colour).
And again, what’s this obsession with plasma TVs? I don’t get it. Because refugees certainly don’t get them either.

    • “Mitch is entitled to an opinion and in my opinion he said everything other Australians are too scared too.”

Yes, he is entitled to his opinion. And we are entitled to our opinion of his opinion. Funny that most people who criticise TAB forget that free speech just means “I can say what I want” not “I can say what I want and you aren’t allowed to criticise me!”

“These ‘boat people’ are coming from countries that are not war torn or under dictatorship,”

What? Sorry, where did you make that up from? The major countries we have asylum seekers arriving by boat are
      Afghanistan (War torn)
      Iran (Dictatorship)
      Iraq (War torn)
      Sri Lanka (War torn)
Pakistan (War torn, in some areas, AND Dictatorship)

Please provide evidence that all, or even most asylum seekers are arriving from countries that are neither war-torn or dictatorships.

” Your taxes are not going to his dole, but going to illegal detainees, who have entered our country illegally with no threat to their lives,”

Again, where is your proof that the detainees have no threat to their lives? After all, the vast majority of them (More than 90%) who arrive by boat are found to be genuine refugees, ie, have a genuine reason to seek asylum.

Even if you have worked in detention centres for many years (Which I doubt), are you honestly telling us that the DIAC and UN review system of asylum seekers knows less about the countries people come from, and their circumstances, than you?

” they receive top notch medical care”

The recent inquiry into mandatory detention begged to disagree. Which is why the Australian Medical Association is calling for an end to detention.

” and luxuries such as purfumes and flat screen plasma tvs (which most hard working AUSTRALIANS cant even afford themselves)”

Source for all of this. I’ve heard of the flat screen tvs-but really, you think asylum seekers wouldn’t prefer to have no TV and be allowed to walk outside their front door when they wanted?
Funnily enough, a colleague of mine frequently visits detention centres. Here’s some things that asylum seeker women didn’t get until she complained:

      Underwear.
Tampons-and even when she did complain, the women were told they were only allowed three tampons, to be collected on the first day of their period.

So, in your view somehow, we’re giving asylum seekers perfume and TV’s (Though, aren’t we just providing rooms with TV’s-they can’t take them outside with them, can they?), but can’t provide underwear.

” if they require hearing aids, we not only provide them with one, but when they get greedy and request one with bluetooth..they get it.”

      Again, source.

“When they are denied instant access to our country and are made to stay in these detention centres they pull acts such as hunger strikes and sowing their lips together in demand for instant citizenship (which happens on a regular basis)..”

Except it doesn’t happen like that, does it? It’s not the people who have just arrived to do the strikes, or sew their lips together (Neither of which has happened since the Howard days), it’s the people who’ve been there for years.

Years of not being able to do anything. Years where they can’t find work, can’t go outside, where every moment of every day is controlle.d Years of being in prison. They want to complain, but who to complain to? There’s no oversight, they have no rights, so they can only complain by getting attention.

SJ-Have you ever had a year of your life where nothing happened? Where you didn’t work, or study, or advance your life in anyway? A year where everything just stopped? This is what detainees live through. And according to you, it’s a luxury.

“dunno about you but i do not want an individual who has the mental ability to sow their own flesh together to be walking down the same street as me or my family”

And I don’t know about you, but I don’t want people put in a situation where the only way for a person to complain about their treatment is to harm themselves or their living situation.
Have you ever been in a situation, SJ, where you couldn’t complain about any treatment? We’re quite lucky, in Australia, in that if a business treats us badly we can complain to their manager, the CEO, the media, the Government, and if we don’t like what the Government is doing, we can complain again by voting against them! Asylum seekers don’t have room to complain until they’re free from a detention centre.

“these people get all these luxuries courtesy of you and your tax money.”

Yet they don’t have the luxury of freedom or choice.

“I have worked in many immigration detention centers and have seen this all first hand.”

How many? What were their names? What was your role? What did you see first hand?
I’m not saying you are a liar, but to have worked in many immigration detention centres, yet still think all asylum seekers have not come from war torn countries or dictatorships (Especially as countries like Iraq, Iran and Afghanistan have been producers of the majority of boat-arriving asylum seekers for over ten years now) suggests that you are lying, or if you did work at these centres, you did so while covering eyes, and ears.

“genuine asylum seekers are a different story, but those who arn’t (which i garentee you is most of them)”

How can you guarantee? Again, are you saying that DIAC, and the UN, which have access to international investigators, offices filled with fact checking claims know less about asylum seekers than…you, a person who think that asylum seekers don’t come from war torn countries or dictatorships…somehow?

” are ruining our culture and traditions, they refuse to speak our native language and conform to our laws.”

What is our culture? Which of our traditions are asylum seekers ruining? Specific examples please.
And refusing to speak out language or follow our laws? You really believe that? Honestly, why do right wingers complain so much about these things. Let me tell you, if someone was so stupid to refuse to speak our language (Rather than what I see, working with asylum seekers every week, which is they find it difficult to learn a new language, but by God they try).

If a person refuses to speak a language, they cannot work, they cannot access business, they cannot buy a house, they cannot move outside at best, their neighbourhood. So if anyone was so stupid to refuse to learn english….more fool them. They are only harming their own future, not mine. Why are you concerned?

As for laws….if someone comes to this country and doesn’t respect our laws, you know what happens? They get charged for breakign the law! And if it’s a serious enough crime, they can either be sent back to their home country, or detained indefinitely if that’s not possible. So we treat people from an asylum seeker background even more harshly than we treat Australian citizens if they break the law.

Unless, of course, what you meant by “Refuse to conform to our law” wasn’t “They don’t obey the law” but instead “Some members disagree with aspects of the law, or want to add things to it”
If this is what you mean, guess what SJ, that’s not illegal. It’s an opinion. And as you said at the start of this tirade, everyone is allowed access to their opinion. Or are you saying that asylum seekers are not allowed to have an opinion on the law?

“run your anti bogan policial correctness crap all you want but we are slowing loosing the good old aussie culture and way of life thanks to being overrun by immigrants..refugees or not.”

Wait, now it’s all immigrants you have a problem with. And you can’t say we’re losing “Good old aussie culture” if you can’t say what it is. So do it now. What exactly is “Good old aussie culture” and how are we losing it? (Apparently, good spelling is not a part of Australian culture)

“It is disappointing to think my children won’t grow up with the same aussie culture I did, ”

Wait, this is what you’re worried about? Their culture won’t be exactly the same as yours? Well guess what! Your culture wasn’t exactly the same as your parents, and theirs wasn’t exactly the same as their parents. It’s called time, some call it progress, but things change all the time. You can try and fight change, but change will happen in some form, no matter how much you fight it. So keep on screaming at the tide to not come in, and end up getting soaking wet.

“proudly singing the national anthem every day at school and enjoying Christmas activities in class..”

National anthem sung every day? When in Primary school, we only did once a week, and when I was in High School, we did it once every two or three weeks. In both cases the reason we didn’t do it every day is we had some, y’know, educating to do. Or are you suggesting schools should spend less time on reading, writing, maths, LOTE, history, science, arts, IT, etc and more times singing the national anthem.
Hell, as you think singing the national anthem proudly every day is so important, SJ, I assume you sing it every day at work, right? Do you? When was the last time you sung the national anthem publically?

Which school has banned Christmas activities in class? I think it was a poster on TAB who offerred that if anyone found a school where Christmas was banned, they let him know and he’d drive past, blaring out christmas carols from his car stereo. So which schools have banned Christmas?

“I’m sure Mitch feels the same disappointment and frustration I do, so can you really blame him for wanting it to be heard?”

So, let me get this right. Mitch, who has, by the benefit of being Australia, the right to complain to his local member of parliament (State and federal), complain by voting, complain to the minister, complain by writing letters to at least 1 regular newspaper (Depending on what state he’s in), complain by calling up any number of radio talk shows, complain via facebook, youtube, or any other website…he wants to be heard, so you don’t mind him being happy over people dying?

But an asylum seeker who cannot complain to the minister, doesn’t have a local member, can’t write letters to a newspaper, complain to a talk-back radio shows, complain via facebook, and isn’t allowed access to cameras to complain via youtube, and can only vent frustration by destroying stuff, or harming themselves….these people you can absolutely blame for hurting themselves so as to complain about their treatment?

Interesting comparison. No doubt you were the sort of person who though “The courts are trying to shut up newspaper columnist, television host, radio host, and blogger Andrew Bolt” yet won’t ever say a word of complaint about free speech abuses in China, Iraq, Iran, etc. Seems to be for SJ, if you’re white (And possibly a man), you’re allowed to complain to whomever, whenever you want. But if you’re an asylum seeker, you don’t have the right to complain, and should just put up with anything you don’t like.

    • SJ much to say but nothing based on facts and only based on watching on Today Tonight for their source of BS.

Especially as under United Nations The Universal Declaration of Human Rights http://www.un.org/en/documents/udhr/ Asylum Seekers are not illegal.

And ANT thinks (LOL) he is the real king of Sunbury? What the real King of not facing reality and writing BS? As for what strange (drunken?) reason do they think real Australian plays footy and drinking beer?

    • Ah no SJ you are not right in many of your rants like Asylum Seekers are illegal, but don’t let this upset you.

But with many people from different background living here, what exactly is Australian culture and native language? (Please no more information from Today Tonight and News Ltd)

In fact the English Culture like Roast, is not Australian as such as it was brought to Australia from England.

PS Trent don’t you mean SJ should get his fingers off it?

  16. Mate, I am the real king of Sunbury. Get off your internet high-horse and start playing footy and drinking beer “like a real Australian” you pretty boy fuckhead.

    • And if you weren’t such a pussy and as tough as you make out you are, you wouldn’t go deleting all of your status’. I thought you “didn’t give a fuck what people thought of you”. Ironic?

      • If Mitch wants to be famous he should do something to land himself in gaol. With his effeminate looks he’d find himself popular and in huge demand with a certain element of the fellow clientele.

  17. Mitch has removed all bar one of his videos.

    What a pity.

The vids where he makes prank calls to local Asian restuarants are like heaps funny. Especially when he asks them about the presence of cat and dog meat in his food.

    Hurr hurr…

  18. “Australia = freedom of speech, am I right?”

No, not really. That is, Australia — unlike, say, the US — has no constitutional guarantee to ‘free speech’. Further, leaving aside the meaning and significance of the concept, there are all sorts of laws governing speech.

“Mitch is entitled to an opinion and in my opinion he said everything other Australians are too scared [to].”

Opinions are like arseholes: everyone’s got one.

Mitch’s opinion is simply Mitch’s opinion.

Mitch has removed the video in question, but his remarks on Facebook make his attitude fairly plain: he despises asylum seekers and rejoices in their deaths.

His opinion is ignorant, stupid, and callous.

Whatever their views on asylum seekers or migration, I don’t think many Australians would be prepared to publicly gloat over the recent tragic deaths off the coast of Indonesia.

It therefore seems quite reasonable to criticise those, like Mitch, who choose to do so.

“These ‘boat people’ are coming from countries that are not war torn or under dictatorship…”

    ORLLY?

According to media reports, those on board the vessel which sank were from Afghanistan and Iran.

Afghanistan is at war and under US military occupation; Iran is under a religious dictatorship.

More generally, given that the majority of asylum seekers who arrive by boat are later found to be ‘genuine’ refugees by state authorities, your argument is simply wrong.

On taxes, law and mandatory detention:

Taxes are used for diverse purposes.

A tiny proportion of the Federal budget is used to adminster the refugee program.

If cost were a factor, the government would be advised to abolish the current system of mandatory detention and seek cheaper, more humane means of processing asylum seekers.

The actual conditions in these prisons has been well-documented.

In August the President of the AMA stated that “the system of mandatory detention of asylum seekers is inherently harmful to the physical and mental health of detainees”.

Finally, it is not illegal to seek asylum in Australia: on the contrary, it is a human right guaranteed by law.

I could go on, but the fact of the matter is that the rest of your comment is similarly inept and based on lies and half-truths.

Please inform yourself of the facts before commenting further.

  21. Just reading the racist rants, it seem no they have what is known as Paranoid personality disorder.

Paranoid personality disorder is a psychiatric diagnosis characterized by paranoia and a pervasive, long-standing suspiciousness and generalized mistrust of others.
Those with the condition are hypersensitive, are easily slighted, and habitually relate to the world by vigilant scanning of the environment for clues or suggestions to validate their prejudicial ideas or biases. Paranoid individuals are eager observers. They think they are in danger and look for signs and threats of that danger, disregarding any facts.[1] They tend to be guarded and suspicious and have quite constricted emotional lives. Their incapacity for meaningful emotional involvement and the general pattern of isolated withdrawal often lend a quality of schizoid isolation to their life experience.

  22. 1. Intense stupidity = intense stupidity (location not a factor).

    2. No answer to question relating to difference between past and present tense?

    3. No answer to question relating to who is a school teacher?

    4. Please familiarise yourself with point one above, especially with relation to points two and three.

      • 1, So we shouldn’t let dangerously stupid people operate heavy machinery.

        2. Are you able to differentiate between a fucking racist idiot in a responsible and potentially dangerous line of work and a person with down syndrome in customer service role?

        2. Would you like your next dental appointment to be with a moron?

        3. Any other massive leaps of logic you’d like to share with us?

        4. Please tell me you do not operate heavy machinery Bugger-me-senseless. It would be a worry.

        5. Also – please note – if points two and three “aren’t important” the WHY DID YOU RAISE THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE?

        Clever.

  23. “Bugger me crikey

    facebook= internet

    Work= Real life

2 Massively different things, if you didn’t notice”

Now I am wondering if Bugger think of those working within The Internet Industry yes including those working at Facebook, as not being within real life?

  24. Those who are pushing for Freedom of Speech (As Australia doesn’t have it) are the ones most likely to abuse it with hatred against others?
