One of our supporters recently sent this letter to Facebook’s Australian office after we were able to supply him with the address.
This is in a period when the tragic killing of a serving soldier in London apparently by extremists was hijacked by the motley collection of low-life street thugs known as the EDL, whose equally stupid Australian counterpart is the ADL. This is in a period when racist comments were made to and about an Indigenous footballer and sadly were followed by matching remarks from prominent commentators. This is after we have had a spate of racist incidents on public transport.
And of course the bogot bottom-feeders that infest Facebook have been taking full advantage of these events.
So our supporter took them on at various sites for these and other matters where they gather but so concerned was Facebook at the prospect of losing their bogot customer base that they fried his account.
Dear sir/madam I have to write to you by snail mail because you do not publish an email address nor do you have a phone number to call. You have one billion customers but no help desk.
I have been banned by you on several occasions, the first for daring to suggest to channel 9 they should show the greenpeace anti rubbish commercial. I believe you banned 100 or more users that day. More recently a race hate page was set up on your system. I found that page after the Brisbane Times ran a story because the anti-Islam rally the page organised had zero attendees. On the race hate page the organisers have advertised they are calling for recruits for a secret society to wage war against Islam in Australia. Upon seeing this I contacted several police departments, a dozen or so politicians I know and some news outlets. And then you banned me. You leave a race hate page running and you ban the people trying to protect society. I couldn’t inform you because you banned me and to inform you of anything I have to log in. You require on one of the accounts that I provide government photographic ID.
ASIO, the AFP, my local police and my local members of parliament have told me it is illegal for you to ask for photographic ID, and most especially as you had no Australian address, no Australian contact phone number not even a phone number in the USA. So you wont be getting photographic ID.
As for phone numbers, I like to be a part of the 6.3 Billion people who don’t have a mobile phone. Since finding the race hate page being run on your system I have contacted ASIO, because it is establishing a terrorist organisation. I have contacted the CIA in the USA because the race hate page is recruiting citizens of the USA in the USA. I have contacted the FBI because of the USA citizens on that race hate page. I have contacted the Australian federal Police because you are in contravention of many laws by allowing a race hate page to exist, by asking for government photographic ID, by banning Australians from trying to report law infractions. Ditto with the Queensland and NSW police. All the major media outlets are aware of your illegal practices and your total disregard for Australian law and Australians trying to fight racism. Please restore both accounts, I will decide which I want to keep. Please cooperate fully with ASIO, CIA, FBP, AFP and all police departments who contact you and please provide an Australian phone number where concerned citizens can contact you directly without having to get banned because you have no contact address and no way of informing you what illegal actions are happening under your protection.

Broadcaster Alan Jones is facing an online backlash after suggesting on national television that “left-wing radical students” were behind the Boston Marathon bombings and that Australia should reconsider its intake of foreign university students in response.

In a segment on Channel Seven’s Sunrise on Wednesday morning, the controversial 2GB host said Boston was a student city home to prestigious institutions such as Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and suggested that students could be the culprits.

That is despite US authorities saying they do not have any suspects in the case and they do not know who is responsible for the blasts. No organisation has claimed responsibility for the attack that killed three people and injured more than 175.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if this was a conspiracy amongst students, left-wing radical students in Boston, and I think we have to think also very seriously here about our own student numbers,” Jones said on Sunrise.
“We’re very keen to have foreign students pay the way of universities in this country without a lot of discernment about who comes in. But I think the fact that we’ve been spared this kind of thing, touch wood, for so long highlights, as I said, the relentless work done by ASIO and all our police organisations.”

Former NSW treasurer Michael Costa, who was also on the segment, immediately responded that people shouldn’t “jump to conclusions yet about what’s behind all of this. Let the American authorities deal with it”.
“You know, America has got a history of domestic terrorism unrelated to the sort of broader jihadists’ terrorist movement and we don’t want to jump to conclusions,” Mr Costa said.
“But for Australia the lesson is clear. Complacency can’t be tolerated. We’ve got to support our authorities and we’ve got to ensure we’re vigilant.”
Jones responded that there were “a lot of things here that we can’t be told”.
“I think governments here have been very good in dealing with all of this and I think they will continue to be very good,” he said.
“This was a very sophisticated attack, this wasn’t the work of amateurs and there were several bombs designed to do damage in big numbers and I’m sure Australian authorities are alerted to all that.”
The online response to Jones’ comments was swift and damning:
The third person to die in the blasts was identified on Wednesday morning, Australian time, as a foreign student attending Boston University.
The Chinese Consulate in New York said the student was from China, but officials were not authorised to release the male victim’s name.
Boston University said on its website that the the victim, a graduate, was among a trio of students who had gone to watch the race at the finish line.
The controversy surrounding Alan Jones is the latest to dog the radio personality, who was lambasted last year for claiming that Prime Minister Julia Gillard’s late father had “died of shame” over her “lies” during a speech at a Liberal Party function. He later apologised for the comment, but not before 60 companies pulled their ads on 2GB.
The Australian Federation of International Students said Jones’ outrageous claims harmed the relationship between international students and the Australian community.
“For Alan Jones to paint such an inaccurate and presumptuous picture of international students in the mainstream media does the Australian international student body a huge disservice,” the organisation said in a statement.
“Putting forth these unsubstantiated claims will only do harm to the relationship between the international student body and Australians. We wholly reject the manner in which Alan Jones has portrayed international students in Australia.”
The federation said international students underwent a rigorous health and security check before they were issued with a visa for entry into Australia.
“‘The Department of Immigration and Citizenship conducts its own security screenings which we accept to be suitably appropriate,” the federation said.
“International students contribute immensely to Australian society in many ways – by volunteering their time in non-profit organisations, contributing to diversity in a university environment and sharing their cultures with Australia.”
“I think governments here have been very good in dealing with all of this and I think they will continue to be very good,” he said.

We’ll keep it simple for racists and bigots. We know they are not too bright. In fact they are so dumb they think that the First Amendment of the US Constitution is the law of the land in Australia.
Hate to tell them this – it is not. So when they see hate groups in the US like the Westboro Baptist Church spouting bigotry and try and do so here they are potentially liable for legal action.
You see the First Amendment was written around 1776 by a bunch of well-off white farmers and lawyers in the American colonies who were (rightfully) pissed off that they were not allowed to have a free press which could criticise the government, unlike the colonial power itself, England.
That’s all. It is not the 11th Commandment brought down from cardboard Hollywood Sinai by Charlton Heston Moses. In fact it has probably been challenged in the courts more than any other provisions of the US Bill of Rights, simply because as long as you put up such a seemingly admirable law, you are going to have nutjobs, cranks and loathsome haters who will abuse it.

10 ways to be bigger failures than you already are
Make a defamatory Facebook group or groups targeting someone you think is running an anti-racist group. It doesn’t matter if you are wrong, in your universe the far right is never wrong. After all in their cargo cult Pauline Hanson and John Howard are going to return bringing Centrelink payments and a gas-guzzling SUV for all.

And remember no matter how big the anti-racist group is only one person runs it even if the group profile shows a dozen or more admins. They “must” be all fake profiles.
When you are not copy-pasting boring hate-filled shite make screenshots of posts at the anti-racist group followed by nasty comments about the poster’s gender, age, appearance and sexuality. And remember they are all Muslims. It doesn’t matter that they mostly are not. So while all the real Muslims are working out in the community keeping the economy ticking over you can keep hardened up from your bedroom at Mum’s or the cheap caravan in some one horse town by insulting and vilifying the false Muslims.

Steal some photos, preferably from young women. Have a particular gloat over the ones where someone’s partner is featured, particularly if the partner is either of a different ethnic group or is same-sex. Comment negatively on the victim or their partner’s age, height, weight or fuckability, notwithstanding the last time you had a root would be when you managed to save up enough to give a bad time to the local sex workers. They ended up charging you extra woody time, a boredom allowance and they complained to Fair Work Australia.
Bonus bogot points for pics of parents or grandparents. Especially if they have recently died or are terminally ill.
Because every anti-racist must be Muslim, grab some random pics of people who are Muslim or who “look Muslim”. Doesn’t matter if they are or not – facts don’t matter in Bogotopia. It’s all about feelings. And bogot psychotic episodes feelings are always paramount right?
Remember the Aboriginals are very dangerous, mainly because they were here first and they often don’t look like you. So spend a lot of online adrenalin pointing out all the things they have that you don’t … like…ah…adequate housing, proper medical services, adequate educational facilities, decent jobs? Also remind them that the Apology has nothing to do with you because you weren’t born when blah blah blah….
Make up some lame humourless memes using pictures of Aboriginal elders disrespectfully or pictures of people sitting in town camps (remember Aboriginal people are always old, all live in rural or remote areas, all live in town camps and they are always sitting around) pointing out their supposed drinking, substance abuse, violence etc – never mind that Aboriginal people actually have lower levels of drinking on the whole than do other groups.
And we are still waiting for the first child abuse prosecution under the Intervention.
In your crazed crusade against innocent Australian Muslims don’t forget to post hundreds of false rumours, conspiracy theories, xenophobic rants, pseudo-histories and Photoshopped pictures of bloody and dismembered corpses, preferably sourced from disreputable foreign websites which are tarted up by their resident web-person to look like “respectable” news sites. Add to that deliberate misinterpretations of actual file pictures and the dreaded Photoshams (the notorious Palestinian “child brides” who are not child brides and the woman supposedly beheaded while buried in sand being favourites). Don’t be perturbed when someone points out the sinister resemblance between your activities and the scurrilous hate propaganda disseminated for centuries against the Jews.
Ignore all references to factual information on scam-busters by Hoaxslayer, snopes.com, Loonwatch and in Sandi Logan’s letter to the media regarding asylum seeker entitlements. In Bogotopia facts do not exist.
Because even your tiny minds dimly comprehend that notwithstanding (3) there are no facts which will justify your hatred and xenophobia, troll anti-racists sites with your rubbish and post in CAPITAL LETTERS with lots of swear words. This is supposed to scare people and makes up for a complete inability to provide debating points.
When all else fails threaten anti-racists with lawyers and “suites” (or was that lawyers in suits), forgetting that firstly

A parliamentary inquiry into Australia’s immigration detention centres is recommending asylum seekers be detained for no longer than 90 days.
A majority of members of the joint committee say asylum seekers who pass initial health, character and security checks should immediately get a bridging visa or be moved to community detention.
The inquiry also calls for a change to the current situation where the immigration minister is also the legal guardian of unaccompanied children in detention.
Committee chairman, Labor’s Daryl Melham, says where possible the maximum time in detention should be 90 days.
“The committee’s fundamental conclusion is that asylum seekers should reside in held detention for as little time as is practicable,” he said.
“The evidence overwhelmingly indicates that prolonged detention exacts a heavy toll on people, and most particularly on their mental health and wellbeing.
“While academics and psychologists tell us that mental health begins to erode after three months in detention, there are people with adverse security assessments in Australia’s immigration system who have been detained for well over two years.”
The report also recommends an international medical representative be present at detention facilities 24 hours a day and calls for an independent review of the appropriate qualifications for detention centre staff.
Reasons why
The report recommends that when people are held for more than 90 days, the reasons for their prolonged detention should be made public.
The committee also criticised the regular use of remote facilities, saying asylum seekers in detention should be accommodated in metropolitan areas wherever possible.
“There can be little doubt that, while the use of remote facilities has at times been necessary, they should be used only as a last resort,” the report said.
“This will not only better serve the needs of detainees, but save on some of the vast expense required to run large-scale facilities in extremely remote locations.”
Greens senator Sarah Hanson-Young, the deputy chair of the committee, has urged the Government to adopt the recommendations.
“The committee was able to agree to removing the guardianship of unaccompanied minors from the hands of the immigration minister, needing to replace that role with someone who will not be seen to be in a conflict of interest, time limits on detention, dealing with the mental health issues, getting people out of remote facilities.
“These are all very practical and much-needed steps.”
ASIO scrutiny
The committee wants spy agency ASIO to come under much greater scrutiny, including periodic reviews of adverse ASIO findings.
They also recommended laws be amended to allow for the Administrative Appeals Tribunal to review ASIO’s security assessments of asylum seekers.
Mr Melham, a lawyer who has worked in the criminal justice system, says there needs to be someone to guard the guard.
And that’s no criticism of ASIO, but there’ll be more confidence in the system.
In the old days, if Nelson Mandela, when he was being jailed in South Africa, had hopped on a boat and come to Australia, under these guidelines he’d have been kept in detention.

Failures
The majority of the report was supported by Labor and Greens members of the committee, along with independent MP Rob Oakeshott.
The Coalition has supported only 16 of the 31 recommendations and has issued a dissenting report.
Opposition immigration spokesman Scott Morrison says problems in detention centres have increased because of the number of asylum seekers coming to Australia.
“Our detention network collapsed because simply too many people turned up on too many boats as a result of Labor’s border protection failures,” he said.
Mr Morrison says the committee was set up after immigration detention riots last year, but he does not think it has focused enough on that aspect of the detention system.
“I’ve focused very heavily on the riots in my statements today because they have not been focused on, I believe, in the majority report made public today,” he said.
“The Australian people particularly wanted answers as to how and why this happened, so firstly it was because of the Government’s decision to abolish the border protection regime of the Howard government.”
Good news! When society rejects you, simply start your own country!
The far right have always hated women. Of course they won’t come out and say that because they would then be even less successful than they already are at recruiting women, whom they desperately need in their minute groups, firstly to give others the illusion that these failed men are real men and socially adept, secondly to open the beers and most importantly to massage their poor shrivelled little…egos.
Take the so-called “Australian Patriots Defence Movement” for instance. It is a small anti-Muslim Facebook group with an even smaller number of followers “on the ground”. The APDM makes a great show of beating its little collection of puny chests and pretending that they are concerned about women’s rights. However we were able to obtain evidence of what they really think.
Note the participants. Firstly, pin-up boy and self-styled legal expert Luke Jenkins . Luke has featured many times here at TAB, both for his unsavoury comments and the indignant squawks which ensue when he is featured. But he has no qualms about posting a photo up of a young mum whose only “crime” is to be an anti-racist Muslim.
Luke’s a real man isn’t he ladies? Wouldn’t you be proud to bring him home to Mum? Just tell her to hide the family pics.

This is accompanied by squeals of excitement from one Marcus Jenkins, who displays an intimate knowledge of dog testicles as well as conspicuous talents as a spy photographer. ASIO should sign him up, since he has the knack of staying clear of the camera lens himself while capturing the humble features of his fellow bigots “patriots” in loving detail – and tagging them wrongly.
Maybe ASIO already have.
Marcus is very bashful as befits someone who is so impaired he thinks a picture of a Welsh dragon represents Anglo-Saxon culture. Marcus likes to post at memorial sites for dead babies, a rather creepy activity for someone with no connection to either the deceased or to the real people grieving there.
And it turns out that Luke and Batty had the wrong person all the time in both cases. Plus by publishing hijacked photos of one woman to attempt to intimidate another that they have no problem having their misogyny (look it up boys!) paraded for the world to see.
We remind these clowns that a prominent journalist has just been found guilty of racism in court. It’s not the anti-racists who need to fear the law.
