Teens arrested over racist attack on bus full of Jewish school students

Five teenagers have been arrested over a racist attack on a bus full of young Jewish students as they travelled home from school in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

Victor Dominello, the Minister for Citizenship and Communities, said he was “deeply disturbed” by reports that a group of teenagers had terrorised students as young as five years old as their school bus travelled between Randwick and Bondi Junction on Wednesday afternoon.

Police allege the offenders got on the bus on Darley Road in Randwick about 3.50pm and, as the bus travelled towards Bondi Junction, they racially taunted and made physical threats to the children.

The children’s parents later told police that the offenders, who were possibly drunk at the time, yelled insults such as “kill the Jews” and “free Palestine” during their assault, which one police officer described as an “horrific” incident of bullying and intimidation.

Police said the children were all aged between five and 12 years old and, while they were not physically harmed, they were traumatised by the event. About 30 children from Jewish schools in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, including Mount Sinai College and Emanuel School, were on the bus at the time.

The alleged offenders got off the bus on Bronte Road at Bondi Junction. A number of children called their parents, who met them at Bondi Junction and called police.

A NSW Police spokeswoman said five teenagers were arrested at 3.30am on Thursday and were questioned by police about the incident. They were then released into the custody of their parents. No charges have been laid and the police investigation is ongoing.

Mr Dominello said public abuse and intimidation on the grounds of race or religion was “deplorable”.

“The people of NSW will never excuse it and those who are alleged to have subjected school children as young as five to this anti-Semitic attack should face the full force of the law,” he said.

“We are lucky to live in one of the most harmonious multicultural societies in the world but we must never be complacent. It is incumbent upon all citizens to expose those whose actions are based on racial hatred and who seek to import overseas conflict onto our streets.”

The attack is believed to have occurred on a State Transit Authority bus that had been hired out privately for the school run. Police are investigating why the bus stopped to pick up the teenage thugs along Darley Road.

The bus was also believed to have CCTV cameras on board, and police will review that footage, which has not yet been publicly released.

Police said in a statement that officers from the Eastern Suburbs local area command were investigating the incident.

“While the event is not believed to be targeted, police have confirmed appropriate action will be taken against the alleged offenders once found, and any type of racial abuse, especially where young children are involved, will not be tolerated,” the statement said.

The teenagers are described as being aged between 15 and 17 years old and “of Caucasian appearance”.

Sergio Redegalli has had a rough time of it since coming out of the closet as a proud anti-Muslim.

We have watched Sergio’s career with great hilarity interest since we discovered that on his rapid downward trajectory from being a respected glass artist to the company of the odorous underbelly of Australian politics he has apparently at times disguised himself as a woman and infiltrated public toilets all over the place.

Firstly the crude anti-burqa mural slapped by him on the wall of his studio in Newtown has been vandalised many times, the latest occurrence being on the evening of 24th January this year.

Secondly despite the arcane powers vested in his wall art, he was unable to scratch up more than 87 votes in the 2012 NSW Local Government elections, despite even standing in a group with apparently non-Fascist independents, cafe owner George Reiterbauer and grumpy resident activist Chelsea Kovic.

But perhaps the most puzzling incident happened on the 10th February and was lovingly reported by “Sheik Yermami” AKA Werner Reimann on his Farts of Jihad bloglet (we won’t link to it)

OK so here’s Sergio in the lobby of Newtown Police Station with blood from an obvious head injury with photographs kindly provided by someone.

Nasty stuff.

And unlike the enemy, who stalk, harass, threaten and intimidate, TAB deplores violence, even against the enemy.

However, when one reads the allegations and looks at the injury one starts to wonder.

The allegation is that “unknown assailants in a moving car” threw a bottle at the victim, thus causing the head wound.

The chances that an unbroken bottle hurled from a moving car can cause a laceration deep enough to bleed that copiously (and yes we know head wounds do bleed copiously) are somewhat low. Experts we consulted tell us it looks like an injury delivered at close quarters.

This did not phase Team Sergio who went on to post their reactions. Ralph Cerminara, who is distinctly out of favour at the moment with the collection of street thugs he formerly led ADL, was one of the first, promising the group which has just booted him out would be there to deliver some unspecified help, probably involving a lot of shouty posts on Facebook.

All were mainly promoting the notion of the blow having been delivered by those damn Muslamic rayguns, egged on by traitorous multicultural magistrates – a notion which will go down really well at the local court.

And then there was the last comment which allowed its anti-Semitism to briefly emerge before tucking it back in its pants.

Tsk.

We hope Sergio has recovered. We enjoy laughing at him and his misguided mates.

Here’s Keith Harding, supporter of failed Liberal candidate ronnoC ‘O naeS Sean O’ Connor who stood for the safe Labor seat of Sydney at the recent Federal elections.

Now you may recall that the openly gay Sean O’ Connor actually supports same sex marriage. His cognitive dissonance with his own leader and his own party must be of epic proportions. It certainly showed in his preference deal.

Anti-semitism and hatred of black people are not likely to win friends and influence people, nor to attract any votes for his favourite candidate.

Keith doesn’t like asylum seekers either and rather fancies them as targets.

Not much compassion for foreign aid recipients either.

i used to date this guy for 2 years. true story, it IS an ss flag. He bought them and other parafanalia online. He’s a dangerous person and im relieved to see other people noticed.

So after some contacts were made involving national security we were rather surprised some years later when one of our supporters sent us this.

Leaving aside the regrettable spelling mistake in the headline, where a major urban centre on the NSW coast is misspelt, we were gobsmacked to read that Nazi Joel is “… the 6th generation in his family to serve as a Defence member”.

So at some stage one of his relatives would have been fighting Fascism in some theatre of war in WWII – the irony did not escape us.

We also read:

In his spare time, Joel enjoys many activities including target shooting, hunting, four-wheel driving and reading, in particular, military history books.

Oh we can just imagine what sort of military history…

And Joel is currently involved in joint exercises with the US Navy – wonder if they know about his colourful past?

To help him out, we’ve given him an approximate location for his stalker. It’s a nice little town just south of Adelaide. A pity that the swamp dwellers have reached there.

Preamble for the failures

We’ll keep it simple for racists and bigots. We know they are not too bright. In fact they are so dumb they think that the First Amendment of the US Constitution is the law of the land in Australia.

Hate to tell them this – it is not. So when they see hate groups in the US like the Westboro Baptist Church spouting bigotry and try and do so here they are potentially liable for legal action.

You see the First Amendment was written around 1776 by a bunch of well-off  white farmers and lawyers in the American colonies who were (rightfully) pissed off that they were not allowed to have a free press which could criticise the government, unlike the colonial power itself, England.

That’s all. It is not the 11th Commandment brought down from cardboard Hollywood Sinai  by Charlton Heston Moses. In fact it has probably been challenged in the courts more than any other provisions of the US Bill of Rights, simply because as long as you put up such a seemingly admirable law, you are going to have nutjobs, cranks and loathsome haters who will abuse it.

10 ways to be bigger failures than you already are

1. Make a defamatory Facebook group or groups targeting someone you think is running an anti-racist group. It doesn’t matter if you are wrong, in your universe the far right is never wrong. After all in their cargo cult  Pauline Hanson and John Howard are going to return bringing Centrelink payments and a gas-guzzling SUV for all.

And remember no matter how big the anti-racist group is only one person runs it even if the group profile shows a dozen or more admins. They “must” be all fake profiles.

2. When you are not copy-pasting boring hate-filled shite make screenshots of posts at the anti-racist group followed by nasty comments about the poster’s gender, age,  appearance and sexuality. And remember they are all Muslims. It doesn’t matter that they mostly are not. So while all the real Muslims are working out in the community keeping the economy ticking over you can keep hardened up from your bedroom at Mum’s or the cheap caravan in some one horse town by insulting and vilifying the false Muslims.

You are all Muslim woman (sic)

3. Steal some photos, preferably from young women. Have a particular gloat over the ones where someone’s partner is featured, particularly if the partner is either of a different ethnic group or is same-sex. Comment negatively on the victim or their partner’s age, height, weight or fuckability, notwithstanding the last time you had a root would be when you managed to save up enough to give a bad time to the local sex workers. They ended up charging you extra woody time, a boredom allowance and they complained to Fair Work Australia.

Bonus bogot points for pics of parents or grandparents. Especially if they have recently died or are terminally ill.

4. Because every anti-racist must be Muslim, grab some random pics of people who are Muslim or who “look Muslim”. Doesn’t matter if they are or not – facts don’t matter in Bogotopia. It’s all about feelings. And bogot psychotic episodes feelings are always paramount right?

5. Remember the Aboriginals are very dangerous, mainly because they were here first and they often don’t look like you. So spend a lot of online adrenalin pointing out all the things they have that you don’t … like…ah…adequate housing, proper medical services, adequate educational facilities, decent jobs? Also remind them that the Apology has nothing to do with you because you weren’t born when blah blah blah….

6. Make up some lame humourless memes using pictures of Aboriginal elders disrespectfully or pictures of people sitting in town camps (remember Aboriginal people are always old, all live in rural or remote areas, all live in town camps and they are always sitting around) pointing out their supposed drinking, substance abuse, violence etc – never mind that Aboriginal people actually have lower levels of drinking on the whole than do other groups.

And we are still waiting for the first child abuse prosecution under the Intervention.

7. In your crazed crusade against innocent Australian Muslims don’t forget to post hundreds of false rumours, conspiracy theories, xenophobic rants, pseudo-histories and Photoshopped pictures of bloody and dismembered corpses, preferably sourced from disreputable foreign websites which are tarted up by their resident web-person to look like “respectable” news sites. Add to that deliberate misinterpretations of actual file pictures and the dreaded Photoshams (the notorious Palestinian “child brides” who are not child brides and the woman supposedly beheaded while buried in sand being favourites). Don’t be perturbed when someone points out the sinister resemblance between your activities and the scurrilous hate propaganda disseminated for centuries against the Jews.

8. Ignore all references to factual information on scam-busters by Hoaxslayer, snopes.com, Loonwatch and in Sandi Logan’s letter to the media regarding asylum seeker entitlements. In Bogotopia facts do not exist.

9. Because even your tiny minds dimly comprehend that notwithstanding (3) there are no facts which will justify your hatred and xenophobia, troll anti-racists sites with your rubbish and post in CAPITAL LETTERS with lots of swear words. This is supposed to scare people and makes up for a complete inability to provide debating points.

10. When all else fails threaten anti-racists with lawyers and “suites” (or was that lawyers in suits), forgetting that firstly

IT IS NOT ILLEGAL TO BE AN ANTI-RACIST/ ANTI-BIGOT

and secondly
it is entirely likely that at least some of the anti-racists you target might actually know lots of stuff including the law.

And by that we don’t mean “being known to  police” – which is definitely the case with the racist bogots.

Though we could actually do with some new lounge or dining room suites. ASIO  Mossad  the CIA don’t pay us too well since the GFC.

Prejudice and intolerance feeds on ignorance, superstition and scurrilous evidence-free propaganda.

For instance a fast-growing foreign religious sect prompted much concern amongst the Roman authorities and led to instances of persecution and vilification.

Rumors of sexual depravity, child sacrifice and other disturbing behavior, left a stigma on the early Christians. Perhaps worst of all was the idea of cannibalism. The concept of breaking bread originating with the last supper, partaking of the blood and body of Christ, which later came to be known as Communion, was taken literally. To the Romans, where religious custom dictated following ancient practices in a literal sense, the idea of performing such a ritual as a representation was misunderstood, and the early cult had to deal with many such misperceptions.

Now when the Jews left the Holy Land at the time of the Roman Empire they went to the four corners of the known world and settled amongst foreigners of various ethnic backgrounds and religious beliefs.

In only one part of the world were they systematically discriminated against and even massacred. This was Europe – except for that part of Europe consisting of much of modern Spain and Portugal,  Al-Andalus,  which was ruled by the Islamic Caliphate for hundreds of years.

One of the propaganda instruments used for oppression was the so-called  Blood Libel which stated that Jews took the blood of Christian infants to use in the making of matzah for the Passover festival.

One of the earliest European versions of the blood libel story occurred in 12th Century England.

A dangerous, unfounded rumour that Jews had kidnapped a 12-year-old Christian boy, William of Norwich, and stabbed his head to simulate Jesus’s crown of thorns was used to justify persecution of Jews.

While the Norwich account does not contain the element of the draining of blood and its ritual use, some experts suggest it is a story of the same type and generally seen as the entry point into England for such accusations.

Decades later, Pope Innocent IV launched an investigation into the claims, which eventually declared them false.

The blood myths persisted however, and were at times used to incite pogroms, or anti-Jewish riots.

In 1840, the disappearance of French Franciscan priest Father Thomas and his servant in Damascus, Syria, was blamed on the city’s Jews.

Authorities helped perpetuate allegations that the priest was used in a ritual sacrifice. At least 13 Jews were incarcerated and probably tortured over the disappearance; four died.

The incident sparked an international backlash for both sides. American Jews staged protests, while some scholars claim it bolstered anti-Semitic attitudes in Europe and the Middle East.

During the 1930s, Nazi propaganda periodically explored accusations of Jewish ritual murder.

Thus do lies become “truths”. If they are repeated often enough they reinforce already groundless emotion-based prejudices and develop a hideous life of their own.

Now fast forward to the 21st Century and in many Western countries such as ours, Muslims have replaced Jews (for now) as the main objects of xenophobic hatred.

We journey to the island state of Tasmania where Jayden Smedley is happy to trumpet the latest variety of the “blood libel” story, this time targeting Muslims.

We know that evidence is frowned upon in the bogot’s Straya. In fact, much of their presentation relies on inflammatory evidence-free slanderous rhetoric delivered pulpit-style by one of their self-appointed “leaders”. Sounds a bit like a dodgy religious cult to us.

Just as disturbing as the content is the sickeningly palpable excited relish which accompanies the disclosure. We get the worrying impression that this sort of material is a turn-on for both the protagonist and the intended audience. And we have seen this stuff before

And it is completely, entirely UNTRUE.

Jayden and his bigot friends are unable to cite one single real-world example except for apocryphal references which are probably invented, in just the way the Christians-as-cannibals and the “blood libel” were invented.
