“…watch out if I c (sic) one today… I’ll kill u (sic)…”

While this bloke gets our sympathy for being evicted (although ‘coz we have kids’ seems like it’s not the complete story/reason for eviction), there’s no excusing the very public threat of killing ‘sooty ppl’ who come over on ‘there (sic)’ boats and automatically get a house, car and job.

They bloody well don’t and anyone that continues to believe that crap has rocks in their (note correct spelling of ‘their’) head.

  1. Uh yeah, I’m sensing we’re not getting the full story here – based on his “stop taking our jobs cars n housing” (sic) comment, it sounds like he doesn’t have any of the three.

Drop the sense of entitlement – if you can’t afford a house/kids/car or get a job, that’s your problem. If you want something, work for it.

And don’t blame your kids for your own failures as a father and provider you entitled fucking asshat. If you can’t feed them, don’t breed them. You think people shouldn’t get preferential treatment because they have more pigmentation in their skin than you? (Which they don’t anyway). Well I think you shouldn’t get preferential treatment on cars, jobs and housing just because you don’t use birth control. Seriously, fuck you.

  2. Asylum seekers seem to be the punching bag de jour for cowards everywhere. They’re easy targets after all – they’re typically not your neighbours, they don’t retaliate, they’re a minority that can be safely picked on by tools like Ashley. Can’t find a house? Blame the migrants. Can’t get a job? Blame the migrants. Ashley, you should be blaming your mother for dropping you on your head during one of her binge drinking sessions.

  3. maybe migrants get things like a house and car because they work their asses off to provide a future for their children. almost like they’re responsible people or something.

  4. What the hell is with the classism in the comments? The guy in the post’s a racist prick, but that doesn’t give you an excuse to ignore basic sociology and spout Ayn Rand-inspired bullshit.

    • “The guy in the post’s a racist prick”

Agree with you there. So when did his life circumstances or perceived social class constitute an excuse for his being a racist prick?

Aren’t you neutralising your own argument by tacitly supporting this idiot? There is no excuse for racism whether you are a billionaire or a bum.

Ayn Rand is a bore. We don’t read her.

      • I’m not defending him, he’s an idiot, I’m criticising the comments which make out that because he’s unemployed and racist he must be abusing Centrelink.

“Drop the sense of entitlement – if you can’t afford a house/kids/car or get a job, that’s your problem. If you want something, work for it.

This sort of inane, bigoted crap in response to other bigotry. He’s racist, therefore eugenics?

        • We are well aware here of the social and economic factors which contribute to unemployment, especially in “rust-belt” areas like Newcastle. Most unemployed people in our experience are eager to work. We are certainly not attacking unemployed people.

But have you ever thought that the sort of attitudes which make someone a racist may also act towards making someone a poor employee?

        • Just as much as it makes them a poor employer. If anything, it’s worse when they’re an employer because they have more authority to abuse. That’s what I worry about when I see examples of racism and sexism and queerphobia on Facebook, like the examples shown on this site, and I can’t see the value in presupposing that they’re unemployed, it doesn’t even make an easier target. Perhaps a less threatening target, but definitely not an an easier one.

  5. I really can’t understand why the bogan trash can’t stop blaming migrants and blame themselves for their stupidity, laziness, incompetence and lack of ambition.

Me and my partner came here seven years ago (separately of course) to study. We both now have well paying professional jobs (she a scientist, me in finance), drive a new BMW and have a house in a nice suburb. We’ve got very little to complain about except for bogans that occassionally irritate us.

I can’t understand why the bogan trash with all the opportunities that Australia provides live such miserable lives. Is it genetic, cultural or something else?

  6. Anyone who says this to me receives this response:

“I’m sure those who flee their war torn home land via a leaky boat would love to swap spots with someone who has a mortgage, job, warm bed and food”

What do YOU think about this?
