Dear sir/madam,

I know we’ve had limited email correspondence in the past about the removal of my details, and I’ve realised that I came across as a complete pillock. For that I apologise, and hope you will continue reading past this point.

If I’m to be completely honest, I regret ever posting that comment since it has caused a lot of problems for me, including getting turned down recently for a job because of it. I’ve now unfortunately realised the real life consequences of posting idiotic things in public forums, and will definitely not be doing it again at any point in the future.

      On another note, I really have a problem with people using the term “harvesting” for organ donation. I know it’s the right term but I really have a problem with it.

      Not because I am against organ donation – definitely not – just have a problem with the term that’s all.

The future seems scary when you read crap like this. I hope there’s more people out there that are enlightened, and more of these blogs. Also, its pathetic how the ‘report’ feature on Facebook based on racism and whatever other offensive reason doesn’t work at all!

    Are you serious? There is a shortage of organs and a surplus of doctors. That’s why Australia regulated undergraduate medicine positions at its universities. You are probably the dumbest cunt in the world Chris.

    Considering education and physical health levels in Sudan, Iraq etc (where most refugees are coming from) are considerabley low, an inflow of immigrants will only detriment the Australian healthcare and education systems.

    • Just because education levels in Sudan and Iraq are incomparable to standards in Australia, do you honestly believe that people from those countries have any less capacity or desire to learn?

      • There is a surplus of consultants in teaching hospitals, NOT a surplus of doctors. That is the only reason why there is regulation of medical school intakes. Australia regularly entices doctors to fill rural positions due to a deficit in non-academic medicine centres.

      On the contrary, the Australian government think very differently – in fact, we are so desperate for Doctors here that the Australian government recently changed legislation laws to accomodate ‘…general practioners and specialists…’ to work in Australia even if they have ‘primary’ overseas qualifications and are now permitted to work here even if they are not permanent residents.

      P.S Do the research – I think you’ll find that with more and more doctors going private, we as a nation are relying more and more on overseas trained medical practitioners to support medical public services.

      And the irony is that you think keeping these very much needed and highly skilled people out of the country is somehow ‘unpatriotic’ and an ‘affront’ to our nation?
