Racists Can’t Spell

______________________________

Oh dear Chelsea, we’d actually noticed the complete opposite. Usually people who publicly post their vile diatribes that insult entire communities of people are noticeably unintelligent, uneducated and consequently terrible at English.

The irony in your comments is not lost on us. Please allow us to show you why:

“I just gotta (got to)… put this out there while…” (confusing coordinating conjunctions with subordinating conjunctions):

Conjunctions have two basic functions or “jobs”:

  • Coordinating conjunctions are used to join two parts of a sentence that are grammatically equal. The two parts may be single words or clauses, for example:
    – Jack and Jill went up the hill.
    – The water was warm, but I didn’t go swimming.
  • Subordinating conjunctions are used to join a subordinate dependent clause to a main clause, for example:
    – I went swimming although it was cold.

“…this is totally irrelevant, but has anyone else noticed (that) every facebook…” (capital letter needed for a proper noun: Facebook) “…user who is of Islamic faith type ALL IN CAPS or with a large number of grammatical errors? I’m yet to come across one to prove me wrong.”

“Or do alot…” (‘a lot’ – two words) “…of these(;)…” (inappropriate use of semicolon) “”…………..”.” (Yes, they’re called speech marks.

“Come to bankstown, sydney…” (Bankstown and Sydney are both proper nouns and need capital letters, Chelsea) “…Michelle. Worst place in australi,…” (proper noun – Australi(a)…) “… you will see why.”

Yes boys and girls, Chelsea is a hypocrite. There’s no denying it. But she wanted to be proved wrong. So here’s some more evidence of racists who can’t spell and don’t know shit about grammar:

    • Uggh…yucky people. Twiggy Simmons is a disgusting excuse for a human being.

I must admit that my pet peeve is more spelling than grammar, as quite often we can be informal on the internet.

However, if you’re going to criticise others for grammatical errors then you have to expect what ‘theantibogan’ has done above!

  1. After my last post I feel I shouldn’t be making fun at people who can’t spell or have not used the correct grammar. But honestly fancy someone brought up with 12 years of English education (or even 10 in most cases) and failing miserably a it poking fun at people from non-english speaking backgrounds.

  2. I’ve never understood the stereotype with taxi drivers. I don’t think I’ve ever had a taxi driver who was Indian. Or for that matter, a male driver…

    • I have had many non-white taxi drivers here in WA. I have also never had a female taxi driver. But there are also many people of Indian descent working in retail, fast food, professional jobs etc. I would be guessing that because they work so hard it is a good second or third job that usually pays the bills or puts the older children through good private schools. As contrary to the bogan view….I have rarely seen non-Australian born people queuing at Centrelink. I am also thinking that some bogans may be confusing real-life with American movie plots (in regards to excessive numberrs of Indians driving taxis).

  3. Today Tonight and A current Affairs, Racists and Bogans only TV shows they watch and understand.

But has Chel noticed Racists and Bogans also type in ALL CAPS, so is she/he/it saying Racists and Bogans are also of The Islamic Faith?

But nice red Chel do you use the cheap stuff?

  4. I have taught English as a second language. I can’t tell you how frustrating it is when these fuckwits confuse subordinate and co-ordinate clauses within a sentence. These idiots don’t even know how to use a simple relative clause – my ESL kids are better at it than these hicks. Oh, and there’s no attempt to use proper prepositions, adverbial or adjectival clauses to give their writing and expression some sort of meaning and clarity, either.

Some of them have not begun to use subject + verb + object word order, which makes their sentences indecipherable at best.

The only way I’ve managed to work out what they’re saying is through the polyglot lens I use. In other words, I look for key words and construct meaning by identifying word function on-the-fly, but just like my ESL beginner kids, what comes out is often gibberish, even when you finish mentally re-ordering it.

And they have the gall to say that immigrants and refugees can’t speak, read or write English properly.

  5. you guys need to get a life outside of the computer, whos side are you on why dont u make an anti’islam page where you can slander the real racist, bigoted uneducated morons.. you guys are the laugh on fb really keep up the appalling work traitors..

    • Hi there Tom! Thanks for dropping by! It’s funny how you suggest that the authors and commentators on this blog ‘get a life outside of the computer’! However, you will eventually realise that the screenshots we are critiquing are of fuckwits like yourself using the computer for the exact same reasons as we are! Oh the irony…

For the record, we don’t defend Islam – or any other religion for that matter. The authors of this blog think religion is a crock of shit. But as stated before, we will defend the right of religious freedom for all Australians. You’re a spastic hick if you honestly believe that all Muslims are terrorists and deserve to have circle-jerks like you make anti-Islam pages and call them ‘vermin’.

Now please cart your sorry arse out of here. It’s completely laughable that you turned up to have a go at us on the page ‘Racists Can’t Spell’, and then proceeded to type an unintelligible rant, full of spelling and grammar errors. Speak English or fuck off out of my country you inbred testicle breath.

    • Hey Thomasina!

“im Tom im 21 love riding horses, working outat the gym, watching movies, throwing off, sport fucking, picking up on women in chat rooms. Im a cool guy who knows how to have fun.. im looking for a new life partner if u have any quistions or want a trial root dont hesitate to ask xx”

Sound familiar? And you’re not the MySpace guy, he is actually a success.

You know what? Racists are about as attractive to women as terminal tinea.

  6. As a Literacy and Numeracy support teacher at a tertiary institution I cringe with shame as I read the examples. Sadly, my job security is never questioned, as the examples sent in a recent email demonstrate.
Current research shows that in excess of 5 million people in Australia are considered illiterate. 5 million! SMS text style may be efficient usage for that purpose, but for general communication it is seen as lazy and inappropriate. While some may claim that attitude is old fashion, it is the equivalent to driving on the wrong side of the road. You can do it, but when things go wrong, only you are to blame.
Please remember that you are judged not only about what you write, but how you write. Many professional people will use a word processor for anything they have written relying on the grammar and spelling checker (set to Australian) because you are judged on your usage as well as your ideas.

  7. “Missed another point I see. Generally, unintelligent/uneducated people will rarely spell or punctuate correctly. We’re not talking about isolated typos here.”

And do I rarely spell or punctuate correctly?

Yet you deal with me in the same arrogant condescending manner you do everyone who questions you, whether they spell correctly or not.

So now we’re opposed to ‘UnAustralians’?
Care to *define* what that term actually means, since the people you attack are in fact ‘Australian’?

    • Hi little Shocky,

I can’t speak for TAB but I personally deal with you in a condescending manner because you are an intellectual lightweight with a serious inferiority complex and amazing inadequacies in the logic department.

That you happen to spell correctly and use good punctuation and grammar the majority of the time, does not actually say a huge amount about your capacity to process and formulate reason.

Do I need to remind you of your regular descents into “Kremlin Konspiracy Theorisky” or indeed your BANANANA swapping trade methodologies again?

  8. From an Arab stabbing his daughter to death and flinging her body into a field, to the biggest dope busts in Victorian history, involving Vietnamese crime syndicates… those “isolated incidents” just keep on coming!

The Australian GDP is “shrinking”…but isn’t the Australian population being replaced by other races supposed to be helping “our” economy?

All you can come up with now is the poor spelling of “racists” (read: Whites who don’t want to lose their society and country)???

Now, you’ve also the audacity to re-name your blog and call the Australian people who wish to see Australia continue to be populated by Australians “Un-Australian”???
Gee, the Communist roots of leftists such as yourself, and that propensity for altering the facts, is just getting more obvious!

    • Yeah Scotty – BIG problem with those pesky foreigner!!!

Yup – Scotty – all foreign nationals – every last one of them…

      Tool…

  9. Yeah, pretty silly name for the blog. I totally agree with you Scott. For once. Everything else you say is still vile filth.

Hey, have you ever smoked pot? I’m sure you have, in fact I know you have. So these evil Vietnamese were trafficking a product you once enjoyed. How dare they!

  10. I, like many people in Australia, have smoked marijuana.
A grand total of maybe half a dozen isolated times though, a mere handful, on my part.
There was a time when I hadn’t… and I was very proud of it!
Impossible to have been at a party or gig over the last few decades here and to not have this substance offered to you though!
Even the most wilful off us may give something bad a go.
The first time was at 23 – even though I knew well better – and the last at 28. Maybe five or six times, and I went to a LOT more than five or six parties and shows then!
Whilst I cannot claim my once pure and untouched status…I AM however glad for such a brief, experimental experience so as to know that it IS SHIT, that it is useless, that there’s nothing to miss, and that so many people should not be held under it’s sway!

It is all shit…very damaging shit ultimately…and the fools that still get sucked into it deserve little sympathy, and the swine that peddle it should be flogged.

Keith…I would REALLY like for you to try and actually EXPRESS just what, of anything, that I have written is “vile filth”!
    Please, try!
Don’t just go by the hackneyed moves of “a white man opposes racial dissolution…he’s bad!”, “a westerner opposes mass immigration into their country…they’re bad!”. Don’t just fall for the myth that dictates that speaking up for your people and standing up for your society is “vile filth”.

You’ve agreed with something I’ve said. Go with that, be open to that…for you’ll find that with deeper thought and contemplation you’ll agree with a lot more, even all, that I’ve written.

    • “for you’ll find that with deeper thought and contemplation you’ll agree with a lot more, even all, that I’ve written.”

Dream on. Keith doesn’t have to do a damn thing to prove your contributions to this blog are vile filth. Your statements speak for themselves, and they don’t say much of worth.

You know that no one with your “opinion” will ever obtain a position of power in Australia. You make astonishingly illogical, stupid, unproven or plain wrong statements and observations when asked to back them up with evidence, or respond to why those statements are wrong, you fail and fail and fail and fail to respond – only to show up in another discussion or post ranting and raving about how you’ve been dispossessed and you’re really the victim and White people are being outnumbered and blah blah blah blah blah blah blah…

You jerk off to fake Asian model profiles on Facebook while living with your mother, claiming unemployment benefits, and dreaming of a White-only Australia that will never exist. Thankfully you unlikely to ever reproduce because hetero people of the opposite gender will bypass your sad existence and look for a real, adult, straight male.

Actually, there’s a thought. Try hooking up with Shockadelic. He’s gay and agrees with what you say.

  11. Hang on though “Why Why” (why “Why Why” indeed?!), whenever any White people in Western – their own – countries raise a voice of concern and opposition to immigration, there are all manner of demands put upon them by liberals to provide “facts”, “links”, “evidence” etc to ‘back up’ what they are saying, stating, or asking for!

There’s ALL manner of demands being made of society now, to lower it’s standards, to degard and debase itself, demands for people to ‘accept’ and ‘tolerate’ a never ending succession of deamnds, intrusions, and offences!

I’ll jerk off to Asian models if I please, and so what of it???
    I just did this morning.
I live at home with my mother, in a semi-detached apartment, indeed!
If I ever need to claim unemployment benefits then I shall…as is my right as an Australian! Our welfare state was enacted for US!

The White Australia Policy was…and very easily could BE again!
A callous executive decision, a “revolution from the top down”, was made to to take the White Australia Policy away from Australians (though MANY non-white/non-western nations around the world still pursue very strict population and immigration policies!)…and we, be it via a good government coming to power, or us OURSELVES making it so…could as easily make another decision to rightly protect ourselves and our own again!

People like you decided to wreck and ruin Australia…WE could easily put it back together!

DROP the silly, stupid, snide aspersions and insults, and stick to the ISSUE!
That is the conflict between those that would give Australia away to all and sundry, and those who cherish and would strive to protect it and themselves!

    • Scott:
“I’ll jerk off to Asian models if I please, and so what of it??? I just did this morning. I live at home with my mother, in a semi-detached apartment, indeed!”

      All reasons why
      a) you are a sad, sad loser
      b) you will never get around to getting the White Australia policy back
      and
      c) no one supports you

Scott:”whenever any White people in Western – their own – countries raise a voice of concern and opposition to immigration, there are all manner of demands put upon them by liberals to provide “facts”, “links”, “evidence” etc to ‘back up’ what they are saying, stating, or asking for!”
This is too difficult for you to understand, but concern over immigration implies that there are facts to back up that concern. The deluded rantings of a failed white supremacist such as Scott Pengelly who publicly admits to masturbating over Asians don’t count as facts. Try again.

    • Scott: “DROP the silly, stupid, snide aspersions and insults, and stick to the ISSUE!”

You mean like the way you brought up the demolition of the GTV 9 studios on a post about homosexuality?

      https://theantibogan.wordpress.com/2010/11/21/homosexuality-is-immoral-do-you-agree/#comment-5584

Such a relevant comment Scott! Great example of sticking to the ISSUE! This is why we should all learn from the way you stick to the ISSUE! The Channel 9 studios are so relevant to homosexuality! That’s SUCH a good example of sticking to the ISSUE! You’re so good at sticking to the ISSUE!

  12. Why Why says: “Keith doesn’t have to do a damn thing to prove your contributions to this blog are vile filth.”

And Keith can also speak for himself, Why Why.

“You know that no one with your “opinion” will ever obtain a position of power in Australia.”

That depends on your defintion of ‘power’. Bwahahaha!

“Try hooking up with Shockadelic. He’s gay and agrees with what you say.”

Not all the time. I think it takes two to tango, if I’m not mistaken.
Wouldn’t we *both* have to be gay for that to work?

Scott says: “The White Australia Policy was…and very easily could BE again!”

Hear! Hear! (That’s Canberraese for “Too right”).

“DROP the silly, stupid, snide aspersions and insults, and stick to the ISSUE!”‘

Scott, you know they can’t do that. They have no other tactics.

    • You aren’t really welcome here but TAB keeps you and the Melton Muppet around for amusement.

You’ve converted no one to neo-Nazism. The only “issues” you present is pus from your diseased brains.

    • Why Why: “You know that no one with your “opinion” will ever obtain a position of power in Australia.”
Shockadelic: “That depends on your defintion of ‘power’. Bwahahaha!”

      Sorry, it doesn’t.

“White supremacist groups like the APP are epic failures and do NOT have any public support. This is shown in election results AND in protest attendees. https://theantibogan.wordpress.com/2010/08/25/the-australian-protectionist-pathetics-election-results/

      Fail.

Shockadelic: “Wouldn’t we *both* have to be gay for that to work?”

In addition to being a dole-bludger and wanking off to fake Asian facebook profiles, Scott is homophobic. He thinks you will rot in hell.

Scott: “DROP the silly, stupid, snide aspersions and insults, and stick to the ISSUE!”‘
Shockadelic: “Scott, you know they can’t do that. They have no other tactics.”
Mmm, you mean like Scott’s response to this:
      https://theantibogan.wordpress.com/2010/11/27/racists-cant-spell/#comment-5713
      What response, you say?
      Exactly.

  13. Wow Scott – if you put that kind of information on a political blog, I’d hate to see what you put on your dating sites – no wonder you’re no getting anywhere with the women…

As for you Shocka-dee-lick – “Hear Hear” to your hearts content – good luck getting the White Australia Policy re-implemented – in fact, why stop there? See if you can set up a Fourth Reich here in Australia!

Oh and while we are talking about rehashing historical failures – wanna get the Edsel relaunched? How about Betamax? Hypercolour T-shirts? Qintex? The Bond Corporation?

  14. Oh and Sloppydelic:

““DROP the silly, stupid, snide aspersions and insults, and stick to the ISSUE!”‘

Scott, you know they can’t do that. They have no other tactics.”

… Sorry – what was that Prissy Princess?

I didn’t quite catch you there Kremlin Komrade?

You may want to repeat yourself to this multi-cultist… cause all I can hear is “Nyah-nyah-nyah-nyah blah, blah, blah”….

    Hypocritical Tool…

  15. Josh says: “You aren’t really welcome here but TAB keeps you and the Melton Muppet around for amusement.”

Good. I’m not here for you, as I’ve explained before.

“You’ve converted no one to neo-Nazism.”

    Was I trying?
And you lot won’t win friends and influence people with snide, arrogant, rude, vicious,
hostile-to-your-own-country, mudslinging, irrelevant red herrings, bitches about spellink mystakes , and incoherent ramblings.

Terror AUSTRALIS!!! says: “good luck getting the White Australia Policy re-implemented”

    Any day now.

“in fact, why stop there? See if you can set up a Fourth Reich here in Australia!”

    We already have.
The Green Left Feminist Multiculturalist Man-Hating White-Hating Incoherently-Nihilistic-and-Utopian-Mindfuck Reich.

“Oh and while we are talking about rehashing historical failures”‘

    Try Sarcasm-as-Entertainment

  16. Why Why says: “Shockadelic: “That depends on your definition of ‘power’. Bwahahaha!”
    Sorry, it doesn’t.”

    Sorry, it does.
Did Lenin have ‘power’ before or after the Revolution?
Did the Vietcong have ‘power’ in South Vietnam?
    Did the suffragettes have ‘power’?
    Did Gandhi have ‘power’?
    Did the Hashshashin have ‘power’?
Did Joan of Arc have ‘power’?

    Fail.

“Scott is homophobic. He thinks you will rot in hell.”

    That was my point.
We’d *both* need to be gay to ‘hook up’.

    Fail again.

    • Why Why says: “Shockadelic: “That depends on your definition of ‘power’. Bwahahaha!” Sorry, it doesn’t.”

      Shockadelic: “Sorry, it does.”

Nice try at changing the topic. But fail. Stick to the issue Shockadelic. Isn’t that what you are applauding Scott (who wants you dead because he thinks you are immoral) for? Isn’t that what you claim “libtards” fail to do?

Yet you are doing it right here.

Gandhi and the Viet Cong are irrelevant. They are your straw men – something you have dragged in to detract from the failure of your argument. Stick to the topic Shocky. NO ONE WITH YOUR OPINION WILL EVER OBTAIN A POSITION OF POWER IN AUSTRALIA. And the facts are once again:

“White supremacist groups like the APP are epic failures and do NOT have any public support. This is shown in election results AND in protest attendees. https://theantibogan.wordpress.com/2010/08/25/the-australian-protectionist-pathetics-election-results/”

Shockadelic: Scott: “stick to the ISSUE!”‘ Scott, you know they can’t do that. They have no other tactics.

Stick to the issue Shockadelic. What’s the matter? Can’t you do that? Don’t you have any other tactics?

  17. Shocky, because I feel sorry for your sad 43 year old gay bogan arse, I’ll answer it for you. You don’t want to admit that parties with policies you agree with will ever gain power in Australia. If you admit that, then by default your claim that the White Australia policy will return is void. You try to detract from this failure by bringing in other definitions of “power”. Don’t play dumb. You know that by talking about the White Australia policy, you are defining power as being in government. (Stick to the issue darling.) But of course if you acknowledge that parties who run on anti-immigration platforms will never obtain power, then that means your claim that the White Australia policy will return is void.

  18. Why Why says: “Nice try at changing the topic.”

    You mean addressing the topic.
Changing the topic would be talking about daffodils instead of ‘power’.

“Gandhi and the Viet Cong are irrelevant.”

    No, they’re not.
All the people I mentioned had significant influence on the political events in their countries, yet did so *without* what you would call a conventional ‘position of power’.

They are not straw men. They are an utter refutation of your presumption that nothing can ever be achieved outside of official sovereign authority.

All these people had ‘power’. Or they wouldn’t be in the history books.
People with no ‘power’ do not change the destinies of their people and are still remembered generations later.

“NO ONE WITH YOUR OPINION WILL EVER OBTAIN A POSITION OF POWER IN AUSTRALIA.”

You mean like Prime Minister Edmund Barton
    Prime Minister Alfred Deakin
    Prime Minister Billy Hughes
    Prime Minister Stanley Bruce
    Prime Minister John Curtin

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_Australia_policy

“The government following Federation in 1901 was formed by the Protectionist Party [ye olde partie] with the support of the Australian Labor Party. The support of the Labor Party was *contingent* upon restricting non-white immigration.”

The government soon implemented the Immigration Restriction Act.

    THE GOVERNMENT.

    THE AUSTRALIAN GOVERNMENT did this.

Yes, nobody with policies I agree will “ever” have power in Australia.

Why Why says (five minutes later)
“You know that by talking about the White Australia policy, you are defining power as being in government.”

You really don’t understand humour, do you?
“Any day now” = literal prediction

You are the one defining ‘power’ that way.
I overtly, explicity said otherwise, providing examples of people who changed the *political* reality of their societies without conventional ‘power’ as you define it.

“But of course if you acknowledge that parties who run on anti-immigration platforms will never obtain power”

Other than the ones that did.

“then that means your claim that the White Australia policy will return is void.”

The minority parties don’t have to *be* the government to influence it.
    Look at the Greens.
One Rep and 5 Senators and Gillard is kiss, kiss kiss.

  19. Bahahahahahaha are you serious? That’s your response to ‘people luke yoy will never obtain a position of power’? To say ‘but they USED TO’?

    Will=future
    Have=past

Not only have you demonstrated an embarrassing lack of comprehension you’ve also admitted a longing for those days past-jerking off to your Aryan supremacist wet dream, which you previously denied doing because you are a ‘realist’.

You are too dumb for words.

  20. “Will=future”

And ‘EVER” means ‘at any and all times’.

If you claim something ‘will’ not ‘ever’ happen, you are claiming it’s *impossible*.
Not just in the past/future, but EVER (at any time).

“you’ve also admitted a longing for those days past-jerking off to your Aryan supremacist wet dream”

    Australia’s past wasn’t Nazi Germany.
    That was Germany’s past.
‘White Australia’ saw no contradiction in going to war with ‘Aryan supremacists’.

“You are too dumb for words.”

    Speaking of words:
‘Mosque’ is a form of ‘architecture’.
And ‘Latte’ is a drink, not a skin colour.

    • ‘WILL EVER’ – future
      ‘HAS/HAVE EVER’ – past

      Will you do your homework?
      Have you done your homework?
      Will you be eating dinner?
      Have you eaten dinner?
Will there be another political party promising a White Australia Policy elected into power?
Has there ever been a political party promising a White Australia Policy elected into power?

I thought you were a self-proclaimed linguistics professor.

    • Shockadelic: “Speaking of words:
‘Mosque’ is a form of ‘architecture’.
And ‘Latte’ is a drink, not a skin colour.”

And neither are relevant to the topic, yet you’re trying to convince everyone here how good you are at debating, how you always address the topic and never change it, and how convincing and intellectual and realist you are. Which isn’t helped by disrespecting the English language thus:

“If you claim something ‘will’ not ‘ever’ happen, you are claiming it’s *impossible*. Not just in the past/future, but EVER (at any time).”

Really, Shocky, you should try to learn the language of the country whose culture you claim to be protecting from the immigrant hordes. The inclusion of the word “will” makes it future tense. See theantibogan’s post (owning you yet again) on this. This is a spectacularly bad attempt at covering up a mistake, even for you. Do you want us to take your claim to have an IQ of 125 seriously?

“Shockadelic has never grasped a point” – past
“Shockadelic will never grasp a point” – prediction, which by default can’t include the past.

Apart from being flat out wrong (not even correct semantics) your attempt to include the past in the statement “no one with your views will ever gain power in Australia” show again your avoidance of the topic (after your failed attempt to introduce philosophical discussions of the meaning of power into the debate).

Try, at least once, to address the topic. Why is it that parties like the APP fail, and fail, and fail again to garner anything but miniscule support? Why do they get anally raped at the ballot box? Why do the far left Greens do much better at election time than people with your views Shocky?

    • Scott,
What degree course are you really enrolled in at La Trobe Uni?
You should know that “blogs” are NOT accepted as credible reference, or do they accept them at La Trobe?
If that is the case I will be transferring to La Trobe because we are not allowed to even reference “wikipedia” 😦
Blog =Any one with access to the Internet and minimal computer skills can start one, in fact I could start one now “Scott Pengelly is a douche Blog”.. will you reference that and agree?

    • From LaTrobe’s website: “At university, we use research based evidence to support our arguments. Make sure your argument (something you have decided from what you have read and thought about) is supported by evidence, most of which will come from your reading. Make sure you put in references to show the the source of the evidence…To do well in your studies you will need to be an efficient reader of academic texts.”

      http://www.latrobe.edu.au/learning/referencing.html and http://www.latrobe.edu.au/learning/reading.html

Paranoid racist blogs do not count as research based evidence, or academic texts.

  21. Why Why said “Paranoid racist blogs do not count as research based evidence, or academic texts.”

Paranoid racist blogs. You mean like this one?

M-Dawg!! said “Blog =Any one with access to the Internet and minimal computer skills can start one”

    And minimal intelligence.
    Minimal credibility.
    Minimal knowledge of history.

Why Why said “And neither are relevant to the topic”

They are relevant to your perpetual rantings about the meaning of words.

““Shockadelic has never grasped a point” – past
“Shockadelic will never grasp a point” – prediction, which by default can’t include the past.”

    “will NEVER”?

You didn’t say ‘will never’, you said ‘will ever’.
You can’t even keep to the correct wording, and you’re lecturing me about language skills.

“no one with your views will ever gain power in Australia”

Now, if this sentence had just said ‘will gain power’ then yes, it would refer to the future *only*.

    It doesn’t say that.

It says ‘will EVER gain power’.

The word EVER makes the statement transcendent of time, as the word ‘ever’ means ‘at any and all times’. Past, present and future.
I don’t think you will ever get this.

“attempt to introduce philosophical discussions of the meaning of power into the debate’

    This is wrong, how?
You can’t elaborate on something *you* introduced to the discussion: “power.”

Your insistence that ‘power’ in society only exists in the official state apparatus is just pathetic.
Especially after I gave you several examples that proves this wrong.

“Try, at least once, to address the topic.”

Which was the APP’s electoral statistics?

theantibogan said: “‘WILL EVER’ – future
    ‘HAVE EVER’ – past
    Will you be eating dinner?
    Have you eaten dinner?”

Will you EVER eat dinner? = Will you eat dinner at *any and all* times, past, present and future?

While you’re in the mood for English lessons, how about that much-delayed lesson in the meaning of the word ‘UnAustralian’?

    • “M-Dawg!! said “Blog =Any one with access to the Internet and minimal computer skills can start one”

Yes! I said that in a previous post.. why the fuck do you reproduce it?
I still stand by that.. & what the fuck is your point?
What the fuck are you on about after that??? this sort of drivel of yours is so tedious to read & hence I don’t bother. 🙂
Chop chop.. next cock awaits 😉
Shock, what academic (or any) qualification do you have to make you knowledgeable of linguistics/history or anything else (every thing under the sun) that you claim to know about? because simple observation of your posts clearly exhibit your lack of comprehension of logic, not to mention the factually incorrect stuff..
You wouldn’t even make it to the school’s U-17 debating team, if you wen’t to school with me.

      • M-Dawg – he is the only one, the ONLY one, trying to claim that when someone says “nothing like this will ever happen” it actually includes stuff that happened in the past. That’s his qualification.

    • Shockadelic: “Will you EVER eat dinner? = Will you eat dinner at *any and all* times, past, present and future?”

This from the person who claims to have an IQ of 125.

Shocky, this is a question. It’s different from a statement (the original statement that got you all upset was “No one with views like yours will ever obtain a position of power in Australia). What you should be arguing with is a statement, eg “No one with views like yours will ever eat dinner from that Indian restaurant” – and clearly, that doesn’t imply in any way shape or form that the person concerned ate dinner at that Indian restaurant in the past.

    • “theantibogan said: “‘WILL EVER’ – future
      ‘HAVE EVER’ – past
      Will you be eating dinner?
      Have you eaten dinner?”

Will you EVER eat dinner? = Will you eat dinner at *any and all* times, past, present and future?”

Oh you are SO FUCKING DUMB! Will = future, and have/had/has = past!!! How can you ask someone that question?

“Will you ever eaten your dinner in the past?”

Don’t lecture me on English when you fail at it over and over again!

“The word EVER makes the statement transcendent of time, as the word ‘ever’ means ‘at any and all times’. Past, present and future.”

The word ‘ever’, when placed after the word ‘will’, suggests ANY time in the future.
The word ‘ever’, when placed after the word/s ‘have/has/had’, suggests ANY time in the past.

  22. Shockadelic: “Why Why said “Paranoid racist blogs do not count as research based evidence, or academic texts.” Paranoid racist blogs. You mean like this one?’

We know you’ve never actually grasped the concept of what this blog is about (anti-racism), so you don’t need to emphasise that lack of understanding.

You can go on and on about how you believe that “will ever” assumes a historical perspective at the same time that you claim to have a high IQ. Ignorance is bliss, and believing that you are right will provide some comfort for you – even though – funnily enough – you are the SOLE person claiming that “will ever” constitutes some sort of past tense.

Or you can just attribute it to one of your “once off” silly mistakes 😉

“Will never” or “will ever” = it doesn’t matter ONE BIT – the inclusion of the word “will” automatically negates any concept of the past being included in the statement, and it doesn’t change the simple fact that people who agree with your views will fail dismally at elections.

No amount of your semantic BS, or your inability to grasp simple English concepts, will never, ever change that. 😀

  23. Why Why said “you are the SOLE person claiming that “will ever” constitutes some sort of past tense.”

No, it has no tense at all!

““Will never” or “will ever” = it doesn’t matter ONE BIT”

This, from Mr Grasp Simple English.

    ‘never’ means at *no* time.
    ‘ever’ means at *all* times.

    Go back to school.

“ – the inclusion of the word “will” automatically negates any concept of the past being included in the statement”

The inclusion of the word ‘ever’ makes the statement transcend tense/time.

To use antibogan’s example: ‘Will you EVER eat dinner?’ implies not only that you’re highly unlikely to eat dinner in the future, but *also* that you are not eating dinner *now* in the present, and that you’ve never eaten dinner *before*, in the past. Ever.

Likewise “No one with views like yours will ever obtain a position of power in Australia”
implies not only that you won’t in the future, but also that you’ve never done so *before* either, EVER.

“nothing like this will ever happen” implies that it’s never happened before.

Statement: “No Australian team will EVER win the World Cup.”

Does that sound like they’ve won *before*?

Question: “Will Australia EVER win the World Cup?”

Does that sound like they’ve won *before*?

    • “‘never’ means at *no* time.
      ‘ever’ means at *all* times.”

      Wrong again. What a surprise.

      * I have never eaten chilli
      * I will never eat chilli
      * That kiss never happened
      * That kiss will never happen
      * This is the best sandwich I’ve ever eaten
      * That was the best sandwich I’ve ever eaten
      * You’re the dumbest person I’ve ever communicated with
      * You’re the dumbest person I think I’ll ever communicate with
      * I don’t think I’ll ever meet a person dumber than you
      * I have never met a person dumber than you

      Fail, fail, fail, fail.

  24. “Oh you are SO FUCKING DUMB! Will = future, and have/had/has = past!!! How can you ask someone that question?”

Nobody said “will”, “will have”, “have never” or “have ever”.
They said “will ever”, which implies not only are you not likely to do so in the future, but also implies you haven’t EVER done so before either.

    * I have never eaten chilli (The original statement under dispute was ‘will ever’ not ‘have never’). This statement makes no prediction of the future.
I have eaten chili *at no time* (never = at *no* time).

    * I will never eat chilli (The original statement under dispute was ‘will ever’ not ‘will never’).
At *no time* will I eat chili (never= at *no* time).

If you had eaten chili *before*, you would add ‘again’ to the end of that statement (I will never eat chilli again).
Otherwise, this statement implies you’ve also not eaten chili in the past.

    * That kiss never happened (yes, ‘never’ means at *no* time. There was NEVER a kiss.)

    * That kiss will never happen (The original statement under dispute was ‘will ever’ not will never’). This statement also implies there was no kiss in the past.
That kiss will happen *at no time* (never = at *no* time).

    * This is the best sandwich I’ve ever eaten (I’ve ever =’I have ever’. The original statement under dispute was ‘will ever’ not ‘have ever’).
This is the best sandwich I have eaten *at any time* (ever = at *any* time).

    * That was the best sandwich I’ve ever eaten (I’ve ever =’I have ever’. The original statement under dispute was ‘will ever’ not ‘have ever’ or ‘was ever’).
The word ‘was’ (that was….) makes this a reference to this just eaten sandwich *only*, and makes no prediction about future ones.

    * You’re the dumbest person I’ve ever communicated with (I’ve =’I have ever’. The original statement under dispute was ‘will ever’ not ‘have ever’)
You’re the dumbest person I’ve communicated with *at any time* (ever = at any time).

    * You’re the dumbest person I think I’ll ever communicated with (doesn’t make grammatical sense)

    * I don’t think I’ll ever meet a person dumber than you (implies you’ve also never met a dumber person *in the past*)
I don’t think I’ll meet a person dumber than you *at any time*. (ever = at *any* time).

    * I have never met a person dumber than you (nobody said ‘have never’ they said ‘will ever’)
At *no time* have I met a person dumber than you. (never = at *no* time).

I hope I will never have to do this again.

    • Shockadelic: “I hope I will never have to do this again.”

Depends. If by “this” you mean “divert the topic so I don’t have to answer the point that no one with my views will never obtain a position of power in Australia” then it really depends how stupid you want to look. What’s the matter Shocky? Can’t you stick to the issue? Go on, show us how people with your views will obtain a position of power in Australia. Show us why that prediction is wrong (and saying “but it’s not a prediction! it happened a hundred years ago!” is a fail of the highest order – as demonstrated by more than one person).

You’re wrong and you’ve been 100 per cent schooled on this. You are epically, catastrophically stupid.

    • “Nobody said “will”, “will have”, “have never” or “have ever”.
They said “will ever”, which implies not only are you not likely to do so in the future, but also implies you haven’t EVER done so before either.”

No you’re so wrong. And it’s getting funnier. If someone asks you if you ‘will ever’ go to China, they are asking if you will ever go in the future. They are not asking if you ‘have ever’ gone to China in the past. Fail no.73.

“* I have never eaten chilli (The original statement under dispute was ‘will ever’ not ‘have never’). This statement makes no prediction of the future.
I have eaten chili *at no time* (never = at *no* time).”

The original dispute is over ‘will’ vs ‘have’! ‘This statement makes no prediction of the future’ – correct! Because the word ‘have’ is used! LOL! ‘I have eaten chilli’ suggests that chilli has been eaten (wait for it…) in the past!

“* I will never eat chilli (The original statement under dispute was ‘will ever’ not ‘will never’).
At *no time* will I eat chili (never= at *no* time). ”

At ‘no time’ (in the future) will (future) I eat chilli.

“If you had eaten chili *before*, you would add ‘again’ to the end of that statement (I will never eat chilli again).
Otherwise, this statement implies you’ve also not eaten chili in the past.”

If I had (in the past) eaten (in the past) chilli and then said “I will (in the future) never eat (present or continuous present) chilli again”, the suggestion is that I had eaten it in the past, BUT WOULD NOT EAT IT IN THE FUTURE! ROFLMFAO!

“* That kiss never happened (yes, ‘never’ means at *no* time. There was NEVER a kiss.)”

Happened – past tense. Happen – present or continuous present tense! Ha! There was (past tense) never a kiss vs There will never (in the future) be a kiss. YOU’RE FAILING SO BADLY!

“* That kiss will never happen (The original statement under dispute was ‘will ever’ not will never’). This statement also implies there was no kiss in the past.
That kiss will happen *at no time* (never = at *no* time).”

‘That kiss will never happen’ – does NOT imply that there was no kiss in the past! If I kissed a toad and then talked about whether I’d kiss it again, I’d most likely say “THAT KISS WILL NEVER HAPPEN”, or “THAT KISS WILL NEVER HAPPEN (AGAIN)” [suggesting that I had kissed a toad in the past but will not in the future]. That kiss will happen (present or continuous present tense) vs That kiss happened (past tense). Fail again.

This is pointless! Just like any other argument that has come before you in the past, you will (in the future) continue to deny any failure or mistake on your part. This mini debate has been about WILL vs HAVE/HAD. The word ‘will’ points to the future, while the word/s ‘have/had’ point to the future. And while you’ve been trying to talk your way out of this one, you’ve made another epic failure – happen vs happened.

Dumb, dumb, dumb. What a loser.

  25. Don’t forget this cut and paste from one of Shocky’s posts.

“And Remember. I am a Realist. I am Aware of History. I am Honest. And I Doubt!”

So you can see, Shocky is very qualified to speak about English rules.

  26. Shockadelic: “I hope I will never have to do this again.”

Why Why said: “Depends. If by “this” you mean “divert the topic so I don’t have to answer the point that no one with my views will never obtain a position of power in Australia”.

You mean will never AGAIN obtain a position of power.

“Go on, show us how people with your views will obtain a position of power in Australia.”

    See Greens above.

Alternatively, wait til our ‘successful’ multicultural society starts disintegrating in response to economic and environmental crises, then take ‘power’. See ‘power’ examples above.

“Show us why that prediction is wrong”

The whole dispute was that your statement *wasn’t* technically a prediction in the first place, as it did not refer *exclusively* to the future. Pay attention.

“You’re wrong and you’ve been 100 per cent schooled on this. You are epically, catastrophically stupid.”

    Yawn.
You’re the one who’s been schooled, Ms Ever-Never Latte Architecture.

    • Shockadelic: ““Go on, show us how people with your views will obtain a position of power in Australia.” See Greens above.
You mean the Greens who won a seat in parliament? Oh, yes, those Greens! And they share your views do they? And the APP or a party like it, will win a seat? Just like the Greens? The APP are so very close to getting the percentage of the vote that the Greens have, aren’t they? Take a look at all the links on this site to their successful activities! Take a look at how many votes they get each election! Just like the Greens. They’re so comparable. *smirk*

Shockadelic: “You’re the one who’s been schooled”
Wow look at all the people who agree with you! Actually, no, you’re the only one saying it. Keep telling yourself this over and over. It’ll make you feel better! *smirk*

  27. Shockadelic: “The whole dispute was that your statement *wasn’t* technically a prediction in the first place, as it did not refer *exclusively* to the future. Pay attention.”

    Oh you mean like you?

theantibogan: “Don’t lecture me on English when you fail at it over and over again!”

You fail at English over and over again. Pay attention.

M-Dawg: “Shock, what academic (or any) qualification do you have to make you knowledgeable of linguistics/history or anything else (every thing under the sun) that you claim to know about? because simple observation of your posts clearly exhibit your lack of comprehension of logic, not to mention the factually incorrect stuff.”

You haven’t exhibited any comprehension of logic. Pay attention.

theantibogan: “Wrong again. What a surprise. Fail, fail, fail, fail”

    You’ve been schooled. Pay attention.

Wow, Shockadelic, you have so much credibility telling people to pay attention. Hypocrisy much? 😀

  28. Why Why said “You mean the Greens who won a seat in parliament? Oh, yes, those Greens! And they share your views do they?”

I didn’t say they shared my views.
I described the fact that they are influential despite *not* having the sufficient public support to *be* the government. Pay attention.

“And the APP or a party like it, will win a seat?”

    Wait and see.
You think this economic crisis is over? Haven’t you noticed all those riots going on in Europe lately?

The fact that the Greens now have some influence may in fact create demand for a right-wing alternative to counteract them.

This is exactly what happened in the early twentieth century.
Economic crises and extreme liberalism led to a backlash, a pendulum swing to the Right.
Seeing the Greens in action may just be what provokes people out of their apathy.

    APP, APP, APP.
Why is this site always going on about the APP?
Australia First has even more popularity, but I never hear a peep.
This site wouldn’t by any chance be a front for AF, attacking ‘bogans’ when the real target is the APP?

Why Why, you’re the ones who “keep telling yourself over and over” things that aren’t true (about me), in the hope that if you just say it enough times, it will be true.

theantibogan said “No you’re so wrong. And it’s getting funnier. If someone asks you if you ‘will ever’ go to China, they are asking if you will ever go in the future. They are not asking if you ‘have ever’ gone to China in the past. Fail no.73.”

    Fail yourself.
If someone knew that I’d been to China in the past, they wouldn’t say “Will you *ever* go to China?” as such a question implies I’ve never been there and they know I have.
They would say “Will you ever go to China *again*?”

“The original dispute is over ‘will’ vs ‘have’!”

No, the dispute had nothing to do with ‘have’. You introduced the ‘have’ stuff.
It had to do with the meaning of ‘will ever’.

“That kiss will never happen’ – does NOT imply that there was no kiss in the past! Fail again.”

Isn’t that what I said? That you would add the word AGAIN, if you had already done something before. Fail yourself.

“Just like any other argument that has come before you in the past, you will (in the future) continue to deny any failure or mistake on your part”’

    Ditto.

“while the word/s ‘have/had’ point to the future.”

Have/had = future? Oh, was that a failure or mistake on your part?

“Dumb, dumb, dumb. What a loser.”

That’s right Christie, keep telling yourself that.
If you say it enough times, a fairy grants your wish.

I do [is not ‘will ever’]
I am doing [is not ‘will ever’]
I have done [is not ‘will ever’]
I have been doing [is not ‘will ever’]
I did do [is not ‘will ever’]
I was doing [is not ‘will ever’]
I had done [is not ‘will ever’]
I had been doing [is not ‘will ever’]
I will do [is not ‘will ever’]
I will be doing [is not ‘will ever’]
I will have done [is not ‘will ever’]
I will have been doing [is not ‘will ever’]

As usual, Red Herring Department to the rescue!

    • “Fail yourself.

They would say “Will you ever go to China *again*?””

And if they didn’t know you’d been to China in the past? It’s irrelevant!

      * Knowledge of previous visit to China, and asking if a person will go to China in the future: “Will you ever go to China again?”
      * No knowledge of previous visit to China, and asking if a person will go to China in the future: “Will you ever go to China?”
      * Asking if a person has been to China in the past: “Have you ever been to China?”

Note the past tense words: ‘have’ and ‘been’.

“No, the dispute had nothing to do with ‘have’. You introduced the ‘have’ stuff.
It had to do with the meaning of ‘will ever’.”

Inferring that ‘will ever’ meant ‘in the future’. ‘Have/had’ were introduced because you thought we were talking about the PAST when asking the question of ‘will ever’.

      * “Will a racist political party ever gain power in Australia?” – FUTURE
      * “Will a racist political party ever gain power in Australia again?” – FUTURE acknowledging the past.
      * “Has a racist political party ever held power in Australia?” – PAST.

FAIL FAIL FAIL FAIL FAIL FAIL FAIL FAIL FAIL.

“Isn’t that what I said? That you would add the word AGAIN, if you had already done something before. Fail yourself.”

No it’s NOT what you’ve ever said. If the word ‘again’ is added, the words ‘will ever’ still refer to questioning the future. The only difference is that they question the future whilst acknowledging the past. And the statement posed to you all these arguments ago was (paraphrasing) “Racist political parties like the APP and the AFP WILL NEVER hold power in Australia” – which talks about the FUTURE.
If the statement was referring to the future whilst referring to the PAST, it would have been “Racist political parties like the APP and the AFP WILL NEVER AGAIN hold power in Australia”.
If the statement was referring ONLY to the PAST, it would have read “Racist political parties like the APP and the AFP HAVE NEVER held power in Australia.” Note the past tense words ‘have’ and ‘held’.

FAIL FAIL FAIL FAIL FAIL FAIL FAIL FAIL FAIL.

  29. Shockadelic: “Why Why, you’re the ones who “keep telling yourself over and over” things that aren’t true (about me), in the hope that if you just say it enough times, it will be true.”
Ones? Feeling a little oppressed again are we bogan white supremacist trash? Feeling picked on and bullied? There’s only one of me, not ones. Not only do you have a problem with tense, you also have a problem with singular and plural.

Shockadelic: “Why is this site always going on about the APP?
Australia First has even more popularity, but I never hear a peep.
This site wouldn’t by any chance be a front for AF, attacking ‘bogans’ when the real target is the APP?”
This is what is commonly known as a red herring. It’s irrelevant WHICH party it is. What’s relevant is that parties like them don’t have any political power, and going on their track record, are unlikely to. Unlike – oh, I don’t know – the Greens 😀

theantibogan: “the statement posed to you all these arguments ago was (paraphrasing) “Racist political parties like the APP and the AFP WILL NEVER hold power in Australia” – which talks about the FUTURE. Shockadelic can’t understand all this, tab. He stated that “will”, a verb, has no tense. No doubt he’ll continue to tell himself that he’s the English expert (“Remember. I am a Realist. I am Aware of History. I am Honest. And I Doubt!), that he has a high IQ, anything to detract from the simple fact that he can not argue with – that the majority of Australians don’t give a shit about his views, and don’t vote for parties like the APP.

  30. Why Why said ”
“Feeling a little oppressed again are we bogan white supremacist trash? Feeling picked on and bullied?”

    I couldn’t give a shit.

“There’s only one of me, not ones. You also have a problem with singular and plural.”

You seem to have a problem understanding Egnlish at all.
Obviously I’m referring to all the commentators here, as if that wasn’t clear.

“What’s relevant is that parties like them don’t have any political power, and going on their track record, are unlikely to.”

    Track record?
So now the past is relevant is it?
Are we discussing the past now?

    “Unlike – oh, I don’t know – the Greens 😀 ”

Have the Greens ever been the government, because what you would call ‘racist nationalist’ parties were for most of the 20th century (track record).
One Nation won just as many votes as the Greens not so long ago.
    You think the story’s over?
The more ‘power’ the Greens get, the bigger the right-wing backlash will be later.

“He stated that “will”, a verb, has no tense.”

When comined with the word “ever”. Pay attention.
    “Ever” transcends tense.

“that the majority of Australians don’t give a shit about his views, and don’t vote for parties like the APP.”

The majority don’t vote for the Greens either.
Or the Democrats, the DLP or One Nation.
But all these parties have had influence on our political history and they won’t be the last.
Disillusionment with the major parties grows with every generation.
The future will see many alternative parties emerging with all kinds of perspectives.

    • Shockadelic: “Feeling a little oppressed again are we bogan white supremacist trash? Feeling picked on and bullied?” I couldn’t give a shit.”

Boo hoo, what’s the matter? Your attempt at turning the debate into the Great Anti White Conspiracy failed? Clearly you give a shit, because you’re on this site to persuade and convince people diretcly (sic) aren’t you?

Shockadelic: “You seem to have a problem understanding Egnlish at all. Obviously I’m referring to all the commentators here, as if that wasn’t clear.”
Nothing you say is clear – it’s entirely devoid of logic and commonsense (apart from the laughable “once off” mistake that the language you’re referring to, and claim competency with, is actually spelled “English”). So you’re referring to ALL the commentators here are you? Well ALL I see is that ALL those commentators (plural) ALL call you dumb and ALL agree that you wrong and don’t understand English. Pay attention. And burp.

  31. Yes, those people are dipshits i will agree but what you fail to see is that it works both ways.

The real irony here is that you dedicate so much of your time spreading the same meaningless hate that you apparently condemn. What exactly do you think you are achieving with this post?

I am all for communicating in English regardless of the quality of spelling and grammar(unlike some) for the very obvious reason that it is the native language of people born in this country and the only way to put a stop to such racism is via effective communication, that is the barrier that currently stands between most racists and those they hate.

Unfortunately a lot of people don’t want to communicate and hence I have more of a problem with those that live here permanently and make little to no attempt to assimilate or even communicate with anyone outside their own race/culture. As a student who moved to Melbourne in recent years i have never experienced so much racism as i have here and a large majority of said racism is what i like to call ‘silent racism’, where people look down on you for no other reason than the way you talk or your level of education, want an example? Take a look in the mirror fuckhead!

There are just as many if not more racist, sexist and ignorant people from Islamic backgrounds because it is written into their faith and culture and often that is why people don’t like them and generalize them (as you do with bogans) as nothing more than moronic racists.

Having grown up in the NT I’ve been bashed around 7 times or so in my life simple because I’m a “white cunt”(or so I’ve been told). Yet still to this day i have yet to make an ‘anti-aboriginal’ or ‘anti-coon’ blog, because harboring blind hate for a sect of people based on the actions of the few severely uneducated and misguided individuals is idiotic and counter productive.

Please grow up and do something better with your time.

    • Or alternatively you may continue to be a fuckhead and comment only on my grammar and spelling mistakes, which honestly wouldn’t surprise me.

    • “There are just as many if not more racist, sexist and ignorant people from Islamic backgrounds because it is written into their faith and culture and often that is why people don’t like them and generalize them (as you do with bogans) as nothing more than moronic racists.”

I don’t like people who are racist and/or sexist. I’m not going to assume a person is racist/sexist because they subscribe to a religion. You’re forgetting how much sexism and racism is built into Catholicism/Christianity.

“Having grown up in the NT I’ve been bashed around 7 times or so in my life simple because I’m a “white cunt”(or so I’ve been told). Yet still to this day i have yet to make an ‘anti-aboriginal’ or ‘anti-coon’ blog, because harboring blind hate for a sect of people based on the actions of the few severely uneducated and misguided individuals is idiotic and counter productive.”

      A wise choice.
